Delicious pizza with unique and fresh toppings. Crispy thin crust. A little bit too much crust per toppings and crust needs a hint more salt, but overall great food, beer, and service.

My experience has been great! I mean dine-in and take-out are equally delicious! Few places have food that’s perfect for both adults and kids, with excellent beer and wine options, an artisan menu and a festive atmosphere. We will come here again and again as a family favorite! Definitely recommend it!

We had a margarita pizza, house salad, and beer. Great friendly service. Everything was very tasty. The guy let me try the beer on tap first before making a selection, which not too many places do. Chili oil is great for crust dipping.

Never been to a pizza place that you can order alcohol to go. I think this is the new norm after COVID but this is still my first place going with this experience! I’m excited for the pink pizza box. It’s so cute and good to differentiate them with other pizza places.Highlights of the menu:1. Mozzarella & basil pizza adding bacon, pineapple, mushrooms ? ?2. Garlic ginger chicken wings ?3. Pizza port beerI’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends and family. I like the white chalked drawings on the black wall. It’s fun! Also, you’ll get a free pin when you leave review on Yelp or Google.

Ordered a PB&J pizza. Supposedly pineapple, Canadian bacon and jalapeños. The pineapple was thinly sliced. So thin that you could not taste it. The bacon was not Canadian. It was just a bunch of Burnt regular bacon bits. The cheese was good but overwhelming. If I wanted a cheese pizza, I would have ordered one. Not impressed at all.

Had a great meal today. Not only do they have a great pizza but also other items like chicken meatballs and the chicken kale salad. Great place for me and my kiddos!

Super bummed. They're usually pretty on point... really need to work on communication between the line and food runner and the host. I placed an prder at 5:50 and it said it would take 30 min. Ended up taking an entire hour for my pizza to be ready. Asked if it usually takes that long...coming from a pizzeria it should never exceed over 30 min..even with a rush. When I asked the only response I recieved was well our wait time is 40 min. No apology nothing. Anyways. Get home to finally be able to enjoy then super bummed because they gave me honey instead of chili oil and I'm sorry but I'm not a honey fan....just completely ruined my pizza...seriously super bummed...then to top it off the pizza was cold and the arugula wasall brown...my kids pizza was soggy and it's just ah. Yeah...very disappointed:/

Focaccia bread was fresh and awesome. I'll preface this review with that.Ordered anchovy pizza for a typical pizza test. Definitely too many anchovies but not totally ungodly. Pizza seems so-so pseudo-artisan. Not terrible. But they failed the anchovy test.Sauce tastes like some sort of fake kiddy pizza sauce, honestly. Crust not charred enough.Pizza slices this size should have no more than ONE filet per slice.Should be less than that, cut in to bit size pieces and distributed.Markedly too salty so definitely too many anchovies.2-star will update if next time is better.

Always a good time at Pitfire Pizza. The Costa Mesa location is great - they are thoughtful with everything they do, from the amazing food to the helpful service. Delicious fresh artisan pizza ?. Very friendly staff. We definitely felt welcomed and appreciated. Love'it! Highly recommended!!!

This is definitely artisan food, but it shouldn't be called pizza. With that said, reasonably priced beer and incredibly friendly staff. Definitely not the worst option available
