Penelope nailed my son’s first birthday cake! We ordered a custom smash cake, beautifully designed from our creative discussions, and tasted ah-mazing! Watching my son eat and destroy his cake is now one of the happiest and funniest memories of our lives. I said all night it was the best $40 I’ve EVER spent!Thank you, Penelope! I can’t wait to order more and more from you!*Backstory: I worked with Penelope to design my baby shower cake but it was to happen right when Covid first hit and not much was known. My doctor told me to cancel my shower, and thus the cake got canceled. I remember all of Penelope’s hard work and wanted to give her business again as soon as I could. Now moved back to California and I can!
Amazing cakes, incredible attention to detail, they spent the time on the phone with me to understand what I wanted and get it perfect and they also give really clear instructions on buttercream cakes which is great because I would have had no idea they were different without this direction. They're wonderful.
My husband got our baby's first birthday cake from here and ohhh my goodness....the best cake I've ever had! It was absolutely delicious!!! the buttery taste was out of this world! I'm not going to wait for a special occasion for some cake - I'm getting another one for my cheat days!! Never going back to any other cakes.
It's not Germany, but the food is still really good. I'd give it four stars easily for food and services. But there is usually a long wait, and it's deafening inside from all the shouty bros. I heard there is a regular shuttle between Marina and here.
These cupcakes were delicious and deserve every star! We know our cupcakes well and these hit all the right notes - just sweet enough, perfect light frosting, excellent crumb. And unlike other cupcakes where you couldn’t possibly eat two, these ones made eating another very appealing!
