Overall, we were pleased with our lunches. The serving sizes are very large and as a result the prices are higher than most Mexican food places. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and they were loaded with melted cheese.I ordered a 2 taco combo with two kinds of beans. The black beans were good, the refried beans were just OK. The shredded beef taco was very good. The fish taco tasted very good but I didn't care for the presentation.

I live local to this restaurant and believe in supporting small businesses in my community. In December I purchased a gift card for this restaurant. We went for dinner last week and when presented with the bill I gave the server my gift card and was told they couldn't honor it as they were changing their system - come back next week and try it. WHAT???? So now I have a useless gift card that I spent $100 for and may or may not be able to use it? Wow!

We have been going here since the early Roar’n 2000s, and every time since, to every Stressgiving, Christmas, pre-New Year and/or out w/ the girlfriends; this is the go-2 restaurant of the O.C., the restaurant that you definitely will not see Tamara & Vicky chowing down on or off the cameras, but instead see a bunch of good local folks, the sincere meaning of the La Familia Mexican Restaurant that makes you feel right at home, and right with your wallet, no matter where you are visiting from.Where mi Casa’s can easily accommodate a few patrons (in the restaurant or bar) to a large party with over 20 (and on one long table), to plenty of booth table options (for up to 4 people) during date night. Kid friendly, even in the bar table seating area, and bar stools for over a dozen drinkers, welcoming and well opened entry, clean bathrooms, plenty of parking (well lite), but it does get busy especially during the holidays, where I am assuming they take reservations, but we have always walked-in and got seated immediately after arriving. Then there is the Happy Hour? or just strolling back to the bar (w/ no H.H.), where one of the most hardworking waitresses (Shasta) I have ever witness serving multiple tables at a time, will welcome you, inform us on the deals and give great recommendations on how we can improve our experience and not costing us more, by starting us out right with a few Margarita’s ($5 each), Cadillac ($6 each) and see photos for add’l costs/savings for food and alcohol beverages. The portion servings (especially the ?? ? chicken cheese tacos) are plenty and my husband of near 300 lbs gets overfilled with all-u-can-serve chips and salsa w/ one (not 2), but 1 ? ? ? served w/the delicious house Refried Beans and Rice, costing under $20 per person in general. On this particular date (1/31/21), in addition we had order 4 chicken ? cheese ? tacos ?, beans, rice, chips and salsa. To see what I am talking about (see photo) the tray of tacos is that of 4 tacos.Highly, Highly Recommended for folks in and outside of Orange County that enjoy Great Tasting Mexican Food, AND for a Great Price!!

Great local Mexican food. The service is awesome, some of the employees are like family. The cheese queso is the best in Orange County and the chips and cheese should be Illegal. If you’re looking for good Mexican food I highly recommend you get over here to MiCasa, get here early because they fill up and sometimes there’s a line. Make sure you tell him CostaMesaDavid sent you.

Just placed a phone order and I am very disappointed. I called an order 15 minutes before I showed up. When I show up I still had to wait another 7 minutes. Food is cold. Ordered a shrimp taco that just had 4 small shrimps and a whole lot of cabbage and other ingredients. The albóndiga soup was ok except the ground beef was raw in the middle. $10 dollars for a shrimp cold taco?? No thank you I’ll stick to cafe rio or Baja fish tacos from now on.

Wonderful food and atmosphere!!

Mi Casa was great! Great food, friendly service, and a fun environment. I highly recommend the Drunken Burrito and the Ultimate Cadillac margarita! 5/5 stars and will definitely return!!!

Great local place with a cool vibe. Food is really good with large portions. A local favorite!

Delicious food!!! Great service from Debbie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband & I haven't been here in quite some time, but we were in the area & decided to have an early dinner. Just as we remembered it, very traditional food & decor. We were seated in a booth, looking out the window, very nice. As I recall, all of the tables are booths, which we love, more comfortable. The chips & salsa are very good. The chips arrived hot & the salsa was a little spicy. My Strawberry Margarita was huge for a regular size & very refreshing. My husband had the Grilled Mahi Tacos. My husband said the Mahi was moist & not dry. It was wrapped in 2 flour tortillas so it didn't get soggy. It came with avocado sauce, cabbage, pico de gallo & queso fresco. He ordered a side of rice which was excellent, no crunchy bits. I had the Cheese Enchilada Combo with rice & a salad. The cheese enchilada was very good & the sauce was yummy, enough to dip my rice in, although it didn't need it. There are plenty of sides to choose from, 3 different beans, corn salad, a regular salad or vegetables, plus rice, of course. The service was very attentive, you never wanted for anything, they were on top of it. We look forward to returning in the near future.
