We had an amazing experience

Terrific new place in South Coast Plaza. Fun space in Collage - delicious food from the grilled artichoke to the spicy beef bowl to the spare ribs. We all loved our meals. Good cocktails and excellent service!

First time and was so impressed that I immediately knew I’d be a regular. Met Chef Mike who was very personable and has delicious food. Great value for the quality of dishes.

Chef Mike and his establishment are hidden gems. Never knew this place existed. Exceptional service and the sweetest most attentive server. The Samosa were delish, as were the ribs. We will definitely be back for dinner.

The location is convenient, the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. Chef Mike treated us like family, which is a level of hospitality we rarely hear of let alone experience for ourselves! Looking forward to coming back.

Fun and impressive first time visit to May Jong’s by Chef Mike once we found it. Located downstairs from the parking lot or on the main floor of the Collage Culinary Experience next to Bloomingdales. Nice variety of dishes with a delicate, gourmet Asian flair that we thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Hoisin Baby Back Ribs and my wife had salmon. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Mah Jongs has a neighborhood restaurant vibe in a most unneighborhood-like location. We were warmly welcomed by the very nice hostess/waitress/bar tender (apologize for forgetting her name) even though we were late for our reservation. Chef Mike helped us with a selection of wine, explained the menu and after dining we were given a tour of his top notch kitchen and mah jong themed dining area including fun and interesting stories of his San Francisco roots. We felt like we were invited into his home. It is obvious Chef Mike is proud of his restaurant and strives to give his customers the best dining experience possible. Mission accomplished as far as we’re concerned. We are looking forward to returning frequently to sample more of his creations.
