Lion and the Lamb is a small boutique coffee shop that's connected to a church. Makes sense with the name of the shop. This is on our list of top coffee spots that we've tried so farNitro Mint julep - it has the minty refreshing flavor without the overbearing sweetness. Well balanced smooth drink.Orange dreamsicle latte. The wife ordered this and loved it! Drinks like this aren't really my thing but I actually enjoyed it! The orange flavor was prominent and wasn't too sweet.
Aptly named and directly connected to Watermark Church (and a cluster of other churches), this little Costa Mesa coffee shop serves as hub for a number of businesses and locals alike. Tucked away in an industrial area, and close to the 55 freeway, it's easy to find, yet simple to miss if you aren't looking. Service is kind and friendly and surprisingly fast for the number of customers. The Salted Toffee Latte is wonderful, albeit rather sweet (hence the name) and sinfully delicious. The pastries look tasty and the quiche was excellent.
My wife likes nice coffee shops. We'd seen this one online a couple weeks ago (20 or so minutes away from home) Scheduled to check it out today. I wondered about the burrito, because they said the egg was fried, not scrambled, which I'm not a fan of. However, based upon the reviews, figured I'd better go for it. It (and the sauces, as mentioned) were really good. I fully understand why the toffee coffee is folks favorite! It was especially nice, as was all the staff. We catagorize businesses as repeatable/non-repeatable. Lion and Lamb definitely scores Repeatable
Perfect place to sit & work by yourself or with friends! Great drinks and just overall nice vibe
Great coffee, service was a little slow and when it gets busy (and it will) you have to be patient. But the coffee is gooood. They have beans to buy and take home and the range of food is good too.I'll be honest, when I saw the name on the map, I thought it might be an expat pub and got a little excited. However, as a coffee shop it didn't disappoint and I enjoyed my visit. I would go again.
I was very impressed. The service, ambience, and quality are all top notch. Proud to call this a Costa Mesa favorite!
Fair warning to those that are wary of religion and churches, this place is a church coffee shop. However I don’t want to persuade you not to go because I feel like they did not push Christianity on me when I went and it is such a cute place. Their drinks were so tasty and I really enjoyed my rose tea. The girl at the front was extremely patient and explained The drinks to us while we were deciding what to order. She even asked us to give a review on the drinks once we got to taste them.Strong drinks, Great atmosphere! Would go back!
This coffee shop offers much more than simply coffee, and it is conveniently placed near my apartment. It gets very crowded, although there is seating both inside and outside. The service was quick, and the food was delicious. Locals and college students, together with visitors, recognize that this is an ideal location for breakfast, lunch, supper, coffee, or desserts!
What a beautiful coffee shop! I come here frequently to write, and the staff is kind and the coffee is delicious. Furthermore, they alter what they sell according to the seasons, which is a nice touch, as are the WiFi plug connections at each table. This coffee shop also appears to be a pleasant location to work, so I want to visit there soon!
The toasted coconut almond latte is the best latte I've ever had. I got it with oat milk. The almond flavor was so strong and delicious. Great service and a great product! It took me a minute to find it so don't turn where the church is, turn in at the next little parking lot and it's just a door in the pink wall
