Would I recommend this restaurant? Yeah, but mostly as a novelty. I must say, I did have my doubts after getting seated and ordering. However, I think the overall experience was good. This bowl of shrimp ramen is not going to fool you into thinking it’s a Tonkotsu ramen, nor is it trying to. It’s an interesting soup based on a shrimp broth. The broth is flavorful on its own with a bold shrimp taste and a tiny bit of spice to complement. It did have the savory richness of a ramen broth, but did not have a thick texture. The noodles with the broth were disappointing, but the various shrimp toppings were all good or great.I do think this was a unique place to visit, especially with the perspective of comparing it to a Tonkotsu ramen. However, I don’t think anything blew me away that I’d be recommending this as a top pick.
This is a good ramen spot in the Nordstrom in South Coast Plaza. They specialize in shrimp ramen, and their broth is shrimp based
The broth is amazing, deep favor. Crispy chicken is really crunchy on the outside with tender meat inside. So yummy!
A shop that specializes in Shrimp broth with Shrimp and Ramen.Interesting because while I can think of a few ramen shops that have shrimp in the broth, nothing exactly the same since most are coming from a traditional pork/chicken-based broth. While the ramen was decent, broth had more flavor than not, and had lots of shrimp, it's not spectacular in the sense that there's a multitude of ingredients to create a layered, complex flavor that wows like some ramen restaurants do.A solid meal, enough to leave run for dessert elsewhere, but nothing memorable for me. Obviously, shrimp lovers would go for the five stars simply because there's nothing the same served elsewhere.
Shrimp ramen, very interesting! The broth is ok, I recommend the ebiko prawn paste shrimp ramen ? Staffs are fast and friendly. Came in at around 5:30 PM and didn’t have to wait at all. Overall very good!
Came here with my wife to try out the 1st shrimp broth ramen in USA. Ordered the signature trio soup and shrimp wonton tossed ramen. I have to say it’s really impressive. The shrimp broth is so unique and tasty. Here will be my regular ramen fix! So happy…. And the prices are reasonable.Service wise is a little lacking and waited a little long for the soup noodle after tossed noodle came. But understandably they only just opened and probably needs more time to run in. For this I will still give a 5stars for the food and 3.5stars for the service.
Overall experience was really good. I did not have to wait on friday evening. I would recommend the prawn paste ?.
Friendly and fast service, the broth os the best ramen broth by far!!!! A MUST when in OC. Location South Coast Plaza first floor next to Bloomingdales Department Store
The shrimp Broth is really good! Strong Shrimp taste with breath of wok as every bowl is cooked on the wok by the chef can be seem from the open kitchen. A very different Ramen experience. A must try! Had the tossed Ramen is also really good.
My favorite noodle shop in Orange County right now. Have been here three times already (good for takeout too). The trio broth is amazing and the flavor is very innovative and specialized. The dry noodles (wonton, prawn paste) and sides are very tasty as well. Staff is great and the restaurant is beautifully designed. Park by Bloomingdale's - Le Shrimp Ramen is on the lower level, right under their sister restaurant, Paradise Dynasty. Will definitely be back.
