May 9, it was super busy in this location, we were told to order something to drink because the kitchen was extremely busy and food was going to take long, we didn't mind except my son was starving so they offered to bring some eggs while we waited and waited and waited and the eggs never came, then another waitress came after 10 l o ng minutes and ask, do you want anything to drink? seriously wow we are ready to order. OK I'll call someone to take your order! What?? Anyways I don't complain the girl that help us was very nice and even though we waited for long time I understand why it was crazy busy, because the mother's day weekend usually is not that crazy.Love those new protein pancakes.
Still a good place to eat. Last time we were here was about 6 years ago. We moved a bit far, but today we were around Costa Mesa and decided to grab some breakfast before our flight.It was around 9:30 am on a Tuesday. The restaurant was not crowded, so no wait times to get seated.Our waitress was Lili, she was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We spilled a glass of water all over the table, the busser came quickly a cleaned everything up while we were switching tables.The food was really good, as usual. I have never had a complaint here about the food. My plate was really filling, and the food taste good, and my bacon was crispy!It was a good experience overall.
Food was cold service was terrible. Waited for sugar free syrup which was asked for while placing order. Didn't refill ice tea, no butter on The toast, the ketchup was brought to the table when breakfast was almost done.
Service was awful, we waited 15 minutes for our beverages to be brought and even more for them to take our order. People came after us, they ate and left, and we were still waiting for our food. We waited for almost an hour for our food and it never came. We spoke to the supervisor did not handle this situation well either and looked confused as to what to do. Our morning was wasted waiting because of this bad service. I am not sure what the reason for this bad service was as there were more employees than customers.
When we Fisrt arrived the host greeted us and took us to our table. Once there the table was dirty but host got on it and cleaned it right away. While cleaning the table our waitress Karla took our drink order. She brought back our coffees and asked if we were ready to order. I asked of they served breakfast sandwiches and said yes "ham and cheese" I asked her "just ham and cheese?". I asked in case there was mayo, egg, etc. My sister made a comment like "oh bc there are sandwiches" and completely gets cut off by the waitress and she states "do you need more time to order" with an attitude which we both agreed was rude however still ordered. Seems like she was in a rush. She had around 3 tables which she did not attend to because another costumer had to get up and ask for his receipt as well as getting a box. Followed up with us once just to tell us she would be going on break and then left the check. Seems like she either was upset at the host for whatever reason bc she kept looking at her direction and someone was talking bad about the host which I believe was Karla from where theyget the food area. The host sat another customer near us which I over heard the guest ask if she can have a window seat instead. Karla (who was on break now) goes up to the host and tells her. No that's no one's section and this is my section do not seat them there. Which is pretty rude especially to say in front of customers. Once we were done got up and left. Just dissatisfied.

Service not up to standards today. Looks like they were understaffed. Then an employee was about to mop us into a corner as we were getting ready to leave. I had to tell her to stop since my wife and I didn't want to slip and fall on a wet floor. Bad experience altogether.
