We were skeptical of all the polarizing ratings, but decided to give it a shot anyway. It wasn’t very good. Not terrible, just ok. Probably won’t be back.We ordered the white rice (did not taste good), veggie chow mein (no flavor), orange chicken (pretty good), and the Sichuan beef (weird flavor)

The food is as good as it has always been, classic american chinese food with huge portions. Updating my review as this time the food was ready when I arrived.

My wife used to come here often as a kid, finally tried her recommendation. I was very surprised by their walnut shrimp and orange chicken! Their egg rolls and chow mein were mediocre though. Place was super empty despite being rated the best Chinese food in Newport year after year. I would say to come here just to try their walnut shrimp. All in all, I would rate it an 8 out of 10

I love the food here. Never leave before having some walnut shrimp ?

I was so sad about this meal.We got Mongolian beef, pork chow mein, egg rolls, kungpao chicken, snow peas and mushrooms, fried rice and sizzling rice soup - I wouldn't recommend any of them. Only thing that was at all flavorful was the Mongolian beef. Everything else was oddly flavorless. The egg rolls were burnt and the filling was like sauerkraut.I don't know what I'm going to do with all this tasteless food ?So confused about all the positive reviews!

So good and so fresh! They really pack a lot of food into those to go containers.

Our new Go To! Been looking for a Good Chinese Food Restaurant for many years. Wonderful Service. Great Staff. Food is very good. Reasonably priced.

Everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Best meal we had while in costa mesa

Maybe we had a bad day but the Mongolian beef was very bad. It was actually bitter and concerning. The kung pao chicken was flavorless and less disappointing but still disappointing. The shrimp fried rice lacked flavor but was better than the other 2.Crab wontons ok.The worst chinese food I've ever had.

Honestly it's hard to give one star but this food was terrible. The only thing I could eat more than one bite of was the rice. The Cashew Chicken was all brown chicken parts, drowning in bad brown sauce. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 90% breading, soggy fried & 10% tiny shrimp. The food had a funky taste in general and the fried wontons tasted like they were fried in really old oil that had a bad after taste. I am very sad to leave this review but I would never eat here again or recommend you to. Sorry :(
