The food here was delicious. Of the items we had the only one I didn't care for was the beans. They're were fairly generic while everything else was packed with flavor. The sauce for the rockin shrimp was superb. It'll be hard not ordering that again next time we go. There is a big parking lot in the back but it can be hit or miss during peak times
Love this place! Our meals were delicious. Loved the garlic sauce on the whitefish & the garlic taste of the black beans & the grilled zucchini. Yummy! All the shrimp disappeared rapidly! You have a great team here. Thanks! Now I know why this place is so popular and busy.

Was hoping for a better experience based on other reviews. Went in on Monday evening about 7:30. Cashier was short with us and had a attitude when we need time to go over the menu as it was our first time in. Continued with the attitude for the remainder of the transaction. Gal who delivered the food to the table was friendly. We went with the Cajun Seared Ahi and the Rockin' shrimp bowl. The ahi was over cooked and tasted very fishy. Rice and zucchini were good. Shrimp bowl was good as well no issues there. I came recommended based on my experience. Hopefully you will have a better one. I won't be back.
Ok we usually go to the Fishbonz in Rolling Hills Plaza in Torrance, but we were in the Costa Mesa area and came to the location here.The food is awesome like at the Torrance location but they do have a greater variety of food choices and they serve ? and ?!This location is larger and very nice. They have an upstairs seating section.We will be back! :-)
First time there, certainly not the last. Fish is cooked perfectly. Excellent value too. Great casual place for a quick meal. Love the shrimp and scallop skewers.

During a recent trip to REDONDO Beach/Costa Mesa area of LOS ANGELES, CA with a friend, we went here because it was near the movie theatre we were going to after dinner. Turns out, it was right in front of that movie theatre in the same shopping complex. One drive and one park to do both. A good omen of good to come. Lots of nearby on lot parking. We were looking for a good but not too high end seafood type dinner. The TripAdvisor rating was very high and with some exceptions, the write ups were super positive. For our purpose, it looked perfect. I ordered the salmon dinner, and from the picture I am attaching, you will the enormous quantity of food that overwhelmed my plate. I don’t eat a lot but I managed to get 3 meals out this large amount of good tasting food. I say the food was good because it was very tasty, very fresh and very hot. It also came out to me fairly quickly, easily living up to its fast seafood billing. I am very carefully saying ‘good’ and not excellent or over the top for a reason. The Salmon portion was generous, fully cooked, and juicy. But it was not the usual lightly flakey fish commonly served in most fish places. It was just slightly on the overall moist side, including the inside of the salmon, much in tune with it being a fast food fish versus a non - fast food fish serving. I t was fully cooked, tender, tasted delicious but with a definite slightly moist fast food flair. There was no overly ‘fishy’ or weird smell or taste. I personally like my limited seafood to be just a little more toward the not dry but still flakey inside texture. My 2 big pieces of salmon screamed properly done but not perfect fish done tight in fast food style, I am not complaining about this, but it did catch me off guard. A new but good seafood experience. If if had been just a little more flakey, I would have rated this place a 5 instead of a 4. The actual rating I wanted would be 4.5/5 but that was not an available choice, so the round-down 4/5 was my only choice. The cafeteria style interior decor is very in keeping with its fast sea food status. It did not smell too fishy when entering or while there inside. The chairs and table were appropriately upper middle fast food-ish and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. It was a totally enjoyable So-Cal fast seafood experience. I will make it a regular food stop every time I am near the Costa Mesa area, whether going to the movie theatre or not. I recommend you to come here also, for a reasonably priced seafood experience.
