It reaches its peak at 12am. Then it also becomes humid and hot. There is no place to sit. Nowhere other than reserved areas guarded by security. There is a "patio" (a fenced off section on the same side as the entrance outside.. no seats ether. Water bottles are allowed at the patio, but cups of water (given for free because of humidity indoors) is NOT allowed. Other than that.. Unless you got someone by your side to dance with... its a very young crowd inside. No cover. Bar hop opportunities.
3 stars because of the orange bearded security guy who only tells the white people (our friends) if they need anything or any help to let them know. He was rude to us asians. Other than that, great music and big enough dance floor.
Commissar y 2.0 offers some great music and an enjoyable vibe. Drinks are overpriced but the $5 alcoholic boba makes up for it.Security comes off as oppressive as a Southern town during the desegregation. Security guards wear military style plate carrier / MOLLE vests that do not fit the Socal scene.I recommend finding a way to integrate your security into the crowd to provide a better illusion of stability and promote a safer environment.
I visited Gunwhale, which shares a parking lot with Commissary lounge, and had one of the worst interactions I’ve ever experienced with commissary employees. They tried to tow my car parked in front of Gunwhale so that their employees could take our spot. There were no signs indicating any restrictions, and the commissary person were SO RUDE. Gunwhale was open for several more hours. 0/10 commissary, really the worst
99 % asian which is okay very nice people and friendly but was charged more for entry than asian customers. But once I was in the vibe and music was great I would definitely go again.
I had a decent time here, but not great. I think this place caters mostly to corporate events. When I was here there was large bio-tech company that was basically taking over the entire place. I could only sit a the bar, which was not a problem because I was by myself on this evening. The \\\"tastes\\\" of wine are very small! Carol was the bartender and she was certainly very nice and attentive. I ordered the warm olives which were not really all that warm and the variety was minimal.. Most of the wines are WAY over-priced and typical of what one would get gouged for on a trip to the wine country when you can get the same exact wine at Oakville Grocery for almost half the price.. (or sometimes even Safeway!). I will probably not return.
Parking sucks but venue is great. Sound is hit or miss, sometimes it's great sometimes they can't get it right. Drinks are ultra pricey.
Fun place! Great venue!\\nThey should have roller skating nights here
Nice venue! Bartenders were friendly and atmosphere was appropriate. Place was clean and well maintained. Parking was challenging. Drinks were expensive but the cost of running a business isn't cheap so I get it. There's a room with some outdated arcade games where a few pool tables would be a better fit.
Great shows and atmosphere
