We have been going to sprinkles for years and finally went to CK. Happy I did the cake was fantastic and when I told the owner that I liked peanut butter he gave me one of their cupcakes. No one gives anything for free anymore. Great product and great owner!!!! thank you
TL;DR save your money and stay away from Cinderella Cakes unless you want to disappoint your child and your guests. I wasted $450 for a small mediocre cake that had spiders and didn’t follow the specs I provided.
Completely disappointed. I thought the selection on the CC website was exceptional. I was really looking forward to getting a cake for my son's 21st birthday. It was to be a basic cake for family at this time. Nothing big, but I did expect it to look good. (Not over the top.) I was told in an email that the cake would be $65 but as they added more decoration it cost would increase. I get it. Of course, makes sense.I gave them an example of a cake on their site. This is what I was expecting. Minus some of the obvious decor that was added to this particular cake for that particular client that would not apply to us. It was a cake that was to have a photo of my son on it, from last birthday, with the 20 changed out to 21 - which I did. When I picked it up toward the end of the afternoon, I was so let down, I was crying inside. This was supposed to be a cake for my son's 21st birthday. It wasn't suppose to be over the top - I get that, but it was suppose to be nice. It's obvious the people at CC don't care. Not a phone, not any suggestions, over the numerous calls we had about the cake were given. Had I had any idea (it would look this bad), I would have and should have purchase it from Vons - they would at least written Happy Birthday on it.When I asked the lady at CC - if they could please add Happy Birthday to the rim as in the other photo, she said no, everyone had left and all the piping gear was put away. But she did say - "Well it does say Happy Birthday on the photo". (That was not a consolation and certainly not appreciated. On the photo the writing is less than a 1/4" tall.)So--(with no options) I purchase some of their Happy Birthday cookies (at $10 each) and some of their chocolate Happy Birthday, thinking I might be able to dress it up. Spending over another $53 on that and the $95 for the cake. Really?!How it did taste - well let me say this - as good as it looked. :-(NEVER AGAIN. JUST COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. BTW- I wrote to them, immediately last week - NEVER heard back. I wanted to give them that option to respond before I posted. NOT ONE WORD. I guess it's just a big "F" "U" to me.AS OF TODAY, WEDNESDAY OCT 6, 2021. Timorie Budge reached out to me. She said they do care about their clients, (but due to COVID they are going through some staff changes) and said she had spoken to the person that was helping me, and felt some suggestions were made (NOT MUCH), like if I wanted the poke-a-dots - nope no dots on my son's 21st BD cake. I did want the framing around the pic, but not like the other had on their cake. It didn't make sense for this cake. AND this is why I go to the professionals for this reason. They are suppose to know and assist.Anyway - still unhappy. Not only was it horrible looking but the cake Black Forest was completely unmemorable. NEVER AGAIN.
Short version:So if you are looking for any customization, do not expect Cinderella Cakes to take them into considerations, look forward to be extremely disappointed and have your event ruined!Long version:I was looking to have cake pop for a virtual gender reveal. I'm pregnant and couldn't wait to know the gender but wanted to do something special to announce it to my friends.I do not have family here, I'm in full isolation because of Covid, and I thought sending cute packages with cake pop and other goodies would be a great way to do it until Ciderrela cake ruined it.I called the Lake forest store because Costa Mesa didn't answer, Saturday at 2.30pm. Some lady responded and I asked her if I can order online and have the inside of the cake pop PINK. Her response: "yes, we do that absolutely" then I asked "so I just put it on the note when I order online and everything would be good correct?" She said "yes"After placing my order online the same Saturday, the website showed that I would be able to pick it up Monday at 4.45pm. Keep in mind that I had to ship my packages on Monday so my guest can receive it on time.Monday comes and someone calls me at 2.22pm to tell me: "your cake pop are ready but ill close the store at 3pm today"So I rush out of my house to get to Costa Mesa and pick them up before they close (the store normally closes at 5pm)Once I get there, I enter and I get attack by a very strong smell of cannabis (And I am wearing 2 masks!!)Some guy was sitting there, go to the back for a couple of minutes, then come back and ask me what did I want. He gave me my order and I left. I finished my packages and mailed them, being happy.I had one extra cake pop and I decided to try it out.And that when I realized the inside is WHITE.Can someone tell me what gender WHITE is suppose to reveal? Now my virtual gender reveals event is completely ruined; I'm full of hormones and bust into tears. I have zero families around, have to be fully isolated, this event would have brought me some joy and now it is all messed up.Before posting this review, I contacted the store and wanted a chance for the owner to explain themselves. And this was the disappointing response:'Good afternoon LucieI'm so sorry about this misunderstanding. We don't even offer that option online at all. It's not something we do on any of our online product as you could see on the selection list. We can only provide what is ordered on our online shop and don't offer any customization.I understand that's not helpful for your current situation but again apologize for the misunderstanding. Do you happen to know who you spoke with as we typically don't suggest something like this and would have normally just taken order over the phone at an additional cost.Regards,Timor Budge'I CALLED BEFORE PLACING MY ORDERI ASLO ASKED ABOUT HAVING THEM PINK INSIDEIF IT WAS AN EXTRA CHARGE WHY NOBODY CALLED ME WHEN THEY SAW THE NOTE ON MY ORDER???So if you are looking for any customization, do not expect Cinderella Cakes to take them into considerations and look forward to disappointment.

Very bad cakes, avoid at all cost
I highly recommend Cinderella Cakes. We ordered a graduation cake and they designed it exactly the way we wanted. We asked them to use the school colors and add the school’s emblem....it was perfect! The cake tasted amazing too!

I live in Virginia and wanted to send my 81 year old father a little something for his birthday - which is a challenge during this time. His delivery was perfect - he said he never saw such beautiful cupcakes. The TP was his favorite! I think I will be ordering for all my CA friends and family. Shout out to GrubHub for the amazing delivery!
