We’ve lived in Costa Mesa over 20 years and this is definitely the best pizza around. The secret is ray and carmina’s perfect sauce and dedication to freshness and quality in all of their food. The moment you walk in, your nose tells you you’re in the right place! Along with the pizza, the pasta is all very tasty and they serve the best calzone I’ve ever had anywhere! So good!
Ask for the east coast pepperoni pie. Having ordered this pie well north of 100x it’s always consistent made with the highest ingredients. Top it off with Oregano and crushed red peppers and you have a masterpiece. Best pie in SoCal.If you say pie and pep this is for you. If your looking for a side of ranch Dominos is right down the street. East coast mom and pop in Costa Mesa. Must have pie once a week.
If you're looking for a high quality slice of pizza, look no further. The owner, Ray, and his wife take great pride in their high quality ingredients. I think of it as pizza with heart. You'll be hard pressed to find any other pizzeria in Southern California where the owner will strike up a conversation with you while you enjoy the food his wife made in the kitchen.
Came in and found delightful blues on the PA and lots of cool decorations all over the store. The staff were happy to take our order even though it was close to closing. Not much vegan stuff on the menu, but I didn't walk in thinking I'd find a bunch of options. Friends were happy with the stuff they ordered.Editing to add more detail:Friends said the pepperoni was wonderful it's the kind that curls up and makes a little cup and that it tasted awesome.The veggie lasagna was cheesy and the sauce tasted great!
I absolutely LOVE this pizzeria! I'm from the Philadelphia area and this place reminds me of the quality and taste of pizza from the East coast. Ray and his wife are the owners and are very present to their customers! I had a beer at the bar and just chatted with them even after my pizzas were ready (by the way they kept them warm while we were finishing up conversation!). Just outstanding customer service, authentic Italian pizza, and a fun spot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! A must go-to in Costa Mesa!
Housemade pizza, sandwiches and pasta. This is the little guy you should patronize. Talk a little sports or music maybe.

Fast & Friendly service. Pretty much every thing on the menu is good. Can’t go wrong with a sandwich, pizza or calazone. I’ve tried them all. I eat here often for my lunch breaks and they do a great job every time ?.

Cute inside place I waited while they made it fresh for me with sports tv and nice bench set up tables inside with a lot of vintage fun decor to keep you entertained while you wait with little bistro tables outside too. Hidden gem I just discovered today. Happy I stopped in, will definitely be back to support this Mom and Pop and try more of their menu items.
