This Cava is filthy. The employees are sloppy and there is visible dust and dirt in the restaurant. No one knew what they were doing, confused, reading off cards and flinging food around and serving tiny portions of each ingredient. By the time they were done making my bowl I was so disgusted I didn’t want to eat.
The food taste good, but the staff seems to be trained to rush anyone ordering food. I have visited this location at different times of the day and they are always out of most items (especially pita crisps) also on my last visit I witness what may have been the manager (a heavy set Latino man) yelling at his employee to take her break. The employee told the man that she was trying to help the long line and that’s why the break hadn’t been taken and he continued to yell at the employee as he served my food. Really unprofessional and I couldn’t imagine having a manager like that.
This location is struggling. The staff seem mostly new, the drink station was completely shut down for repairs, the trash was overflowing. Food is great but it is abysmally managed.
I used to love CAVA. In fact, my previous rating was 5 stars because of all the healthy, vegetarian options. But lately, each time I've gone to CAVA, the veggies are ALWAYS BURNED. I had cancer last year, and this kind of blackened, seriously charred food is linked to cancer. It's disturbing that CAVA serves burned food to customers who are looking for something healthy and vegetarian to eat.And the worst part is that when I complained to the staff about the vegetables, he told me "oh yeah, that's because of the oven." The oven doesn't burn the food. The person operating it does.CAVA, I want so badly to love you again, but I can't with these carcinogenic veggies ???
Loved the food served here; you cannot go wrong with their recommendations/pairings! Will definitely be coming back for the shredded lamb!
Not sure who’s running this place but it was super messy they were out of a lot of ingredients the line was really long and extremely slow. The tables and floors very were dirty. I will say the food is good though.
CAVA as an establishment is great. This location could benefit from better management, given that they were out of several items - including pita's of all things - the soft drink machine said out of order, the table tops were pretty dirty, and the trash cans had a lot of flies.I know I sound a bit like a picky customer, but I've been to several Cava's and this one stands out.
saddened by the managers servings of the proteins and quality of them . The brazed lamb was very fatty and the chicken was very chewy with fat and cartilage.
First time trying this place. Food is fine but I'm not sure how to feel about it. Something new I guess.
I really liked the food here, especially since there are healthy options, but I will never come back after how I was treated by three employees. They told me I needed to wear a mask so I put mine on and then they said they wouldn't serve me if I didn't have it completely over my nose. They kept saying, "you have to have it over your nose", but very rudely. The lady taking my order said, "fine, I don't have to serve you then" and literally walked away. I wasn't rude at all. All I said was, "no thank you, I have trouble breathing". Granted, they have every right not to serve someone due to their store policy, but don't be disrespectful and rude to another human being. I will never go back. I had a friend with me and this was her first experience there. We ended up going to another place very similar to this and had no issues. Also, if you're going to tell someone to wear a mask and then dictate how they wear it, you need to put that on your signs also. I was shocked. I've never had an issue with that before anywhere else. But again, be respectful and kind to your customers.
