The rations they pick up with their tongs are ridiculous but they somehow manage to flatten it out & decorate the meat of your choice to disguise it with more lettuce, diced Tom's & very very little cheese to make it appear like your really getting a full something. For the money? Go to your favorite Mexican hole in the wall where always seem to get more than enough & less cost. And the set up design inside has the drink station completely on the other side of ordering food. Not impressed. I have a disability with walking so it was A Chore to walk to get my drink. Las Primas is really one of the best Authentic Mexican food restaurants on 17th, besides Playa Mesa. To me, this is fancy, fast food. Others love it. I prefer Real food & my money's worth.
I have lived by this location for years and never stopped in until my Friend brought me in. Had no expectations and was completely floored after the first bite. Flavors are amazing. Definitely planning to come back.
I go for the salads, but always good service and clean when I'm there.
Sugary, weird sweet BBQ-like flavors from Utah that vaguely resembles Mexican food if your idea of Mexican food was 87% white.
Good food. A little spicy. Kids meal isn't very big.
Grilled steak burrito (13.68) enchilada style, "extra" sour cream (.59), "extra" guacamole (2.49) claims my receipt, although I don't think it's standard or added as part of my original burrito order. Grand total for my burrito 18.06. A bit pricey. Maybe, since I'm not a regular, I don't know the ins and outs of ordering from Cafe Rio.
excellent. Is one of our favorites. There acada tacos can't be beat.
Tasty burritos, I've peobably been to all Cafe Rios on the west coast and Utah. This was one of the best meals I had.

Good food for an ok price. On site tortillería. Small tortillas are good enough to eat plain for desert.
