Today I went to Boba Guys with my Girlfriend and her brother. It was the soft opening, but the team was working hard to bring the “Boba Guys” experience to life! They even gave us some free samples of the slanted oolong jelly lemonade. The only downside was that they did not the difference between an aardvark and an anteater. Maybe they should spend more time studying the differences between subspecies of long snouted mammalian animals before a pangolin goes in there and is offended. Almost took of a star but my boba was so good that I decided to let it slide… this time. Mark my words Boba Guys, I won’t stand for aggression like this in the future.
The boba drinks weren't as good as other places. My friend and I tried two different drinks and we weren't impressed. We wished we could've went to another place. I didn't even finished my banana milk boba...
The milk tea was delicious, and the establishment had a cute decor. I liked the bamboo straws since, unlike cardboard straws, they didn't dissolve or get mushy.Service
the tea is mediocre. the hojicha powder has larger bits that stick on your tongue and make your mouth dry. the boba itself was fine. there was also a really long wait? it didn't seem super busy and the cashier was quick, but each drink took a long time to come out. the cup it came in for hot tea was really nice, and the non-plastic straw held up well.
Very friendly workers. Unique boba combinations. They use paper boba straws which is environmentally friendly.

I worked in swanky New York City coffee/tea shops for over 6 years, and never liked boba. Mostly because the tea quality was always so low, and it ruined the experience for me. Boba Guys changed my mind. Their tea quality is fantastic, and I’m now a boba lover! Thanks guys! Have tried the strawberry matcha and strawberry Fresca (both were great), and my boyfriend said the Horchata brought back sweet childhood memories. Definitely recommend.
Overall a good experience, I ordered the Strawberry Rice Milk and forgot to adjust sweetness so I had to dilute it when I got home. I believe you could also ask to have your drink adjusted on the spot which is nice. I'm hoping they'll accept reusable cups again soon!
