The food was on point! Everyone in my party expressed how they loved everything we ordered. The service was attentive and they were mindful of getting us to the theater on time. Excellent Job!

Our family was very satisfied with the service and the food. Our fave is the mains lobster, Garlic Noodles, roasted crab, ceviche, chicken wings. We loved the table side ice cream! Our kids loved this touch!

While shopping at the South Coast Plaza, I was lucky enough to get last minute lunch reservations to Anqi.You NEED a reservation to eat here.This place was absolutely breathtaking inside!Absolutely beautiful!The staff were very friendly and full of conversation!There were a lot of dishes on the menu that looked worth trying but I decided to go with the famous Garlic Noodles.I was not disappointed…It definitely was worth all the hype!I plan to revisit again for brunch and dinner!
We arrived as expected for our reservation and was warmly welcome by other wait staff as the host was seating other guests. The hostess was friendly and wait staff were immediately attentive to bring waters and ask for our drink requests. The cocktails I had were the off the old menu, as our waiter was great to give recommendations based on our prior dining experience and what our preferences were. The lychee martini and Asian pear martini- both were so refreshing! As a return dining experience, we wanted to try other menu items, but we had to order the truffle sashimi..A favorite for sure- subtle flavors that pair so well together for a perfect light starter small plate. I tried the langoustine squash blossom dumplings which were surprisingly good. The squash blossom had a good earthly flavor that complimented the lobster. We shared the coconut curry noodles. It was more tempura veggies more than noodles, but the flavors were good and balanced, not too spicy either. For a newbie at the table, the famous garlic noodles was ordered, which this time was much lighter on the sauce and more flavorful. For a late lunch, small bites dining, it was an overall good dining experience, and we canât wait to come back to try more items.
Food was great once it arrived. Not sure what happened but we noticed the food was taking a while, then our main dish arrived before any of our 3 small plates/appetizers. We mentioned to the food runner that we hadn't received our other items and they offered to just 'hold it in the back'. We said no because we are still missing other food and don't want the food just sitting under the heat lamp. After some confusion, our smaller plates were brought out at about the same time and main server apologized. Food was delicious so can't fault that and overall the restaurant is really nice. Would still recommend and we gave the benefit of the doubt that the staff is still 'adjusting to working after covid'. Probable need more training.
