Anjin is famous for Japanese style BBQ(Yakiniku).#4. Marbled prime boneless rib and #5. Marbled prime Ribeye are really good. ?
This is the best Japanese BBQ in town! just mouth watering meaty goodness - absolutely amazing and I love everything on the menu.Last time I went we ordered all the oddities - intenstine, tongue, liver... And did not disappoint! Everything was just so savory and well balanced. The kimchi combo is a really good mix and don't forget to ask for romaine lettuce!! So so good.
Every dish we ordered was fantastic! This place is in a very busy shopping center and it can get very hectic to find parking during peak hours. There's always a wait, but totally worth it. We had kimchi, rice, salad, marbled prime rib and new york steak. I would come here for the marbled prime rib alone, it was so well marinated! Service was efficient and every employee pitched in to help all the tables. You get a most towelette and hot green tea with your check. Absolutely coming back!
I'd had this place bookmarked for awhile, and it was so worth the hype. Went on a Saturday night and only waited about 10 minutes for a table. The drink selection is large, but we settled on Sapporo and a sparkling sake. The sake was sweet, but not overwhelming. Now the MEATS are phenomenal, perfectly marbled, and quality. We ordered the Kobe style beef, Marbled Prime Short Rib, Seafood Mix, Rib eye, Pork Cheek, and Pork Belly. I would order everything again and will come back to try more. We also ordered the egg soup, homemade kimchi, and red leaf lettuce. Definitely order the kimchi and lettuce to accompany the meats, the soup wasn't as good as I though it be. Also the sesame and ponzu dipping sauces were tasty.Overall one of the best Japanese bbq restaurants I've been to.
It’s the JBBQ spot of OC. The OG. It’s a tight ship inside run smoothly by the owner and manager with great service and nice ambiance.Meats are great (though I think it does vary from time to time) in general, soups are great, veggies are fresh, good sauces, and overall just a nice spot to eat quality meats. The kimchi is a hidden gem here! So tasty.Food here tends to lean towards the sweet side (soups, kimchi, etc) so just be aware. You can order the meats with no sauce if desired but I personally like the sauced in style. My fav would be the short rib here.
Broth and noodles were good. I had the fire devil, which has great flavor. Somewhat disappointed by the toppings. Most places at least give you seaweed without upcharging. The gyoaza were tasty as well.
The lady server stays there since when I was a kid.Still busyStill high level food qualityService would improve a bit. We called for tea and waited 30 minutes, while the check only takes less than 3 minutes
It was my first time there and it won't be the last. Restaurant is clean, the service is great, the food was tasty, and meat was fresh. I am was so happy after I was done eating.I highly recommend this restaurant.
Place was as good as i heard it was, just Great! They didn't even kick us out as we were last to leave around 2am. Highly recomend this place but come early n be patient. You will wait but b glad u did.
Anjin is a really yummy place but it is going to be on the pricier side.Items we orders: Marbled Prime Rib, Chicken Leg, Green Tea, Shochu Cocktails - Green Apple and Lychee. Regarding the experience itself, it was my first time going to Anjin and it was a great experience!
