Thoughts after stopping in for lunch on a whim.Place was packed (lunch time) but I was seated quickly, given water, hot tea, and a fresh place setting along with a menu.Ordered a lunch special Mongolian Beef that came with fried rice and an egg roll. Huge portion that I had to box up and take home for a second meal later. The food came out burn-your-mouth, pipping hot, so you know it was freshly made and not sitting around.The egg roll was perhaps the best I've ever had - smothered in the provided hot mustard it was three huge bites of heaven. Mongolian beef was great with lots of onions #onionlovers.I was highly satisfied with pretty much everything - great meal & service & tea for $14+ tip. Maybe next time I'll remember to take some photos before I devour it all.

This place, Al's Palace is one of my favorite Chinese food to eat!A memory, after work my father would buy us food from here, we would eat and enjoy the Tea!Lovely atmosphere, nice portions!Their lunch specials are the best!Chicken Chow Fun all the way!If I can, and still here, I will bring my future family here, just to relive, and relive my love for this place.....
Almond chicken express lunch, coming here on and off for almost 30 years for my favorite dish. It's just as good as the first day I ordered.
What a find! Smaller and simple setup, but WOW, the food was great. I had lunch porttion of Singapore Noodles, my friend had Vegetable noodles. The portions were HUGE, like in the old days. Friendly and professional staff. Went back a couple of days ago and we had my Singapore Noodles and Chow Mein. Had to get a doggy bag to take home the extra. You gotta try this little gem.
This was the absolute best Chinese food we have ever had.It’s my husbands favorite type of food and we are in town from Portland. We will visit again and again I’m sure.
I could eat Al's Chinese every day of the week. I almost always order takeout and it's topnotch, fresh, and delicious. It's packaged thoughtfully, transports well, and is ALWAYS piping, burn-your-mouth hot when you get home. I'm not quite sure how they do it but it's certainly part of the magic. When you place an order for pickup, they always ask the time you'd like to pick it up. The staff is always kind and gracious. Some of these reviews jab at the service and it's total BS. AL's is all about the food and they're excellent at what they do! Never, ever skip the egg rolls or chow mein. Musts for every order. Both are stellar, and never greasy. These are the best egg rolls I've ever had, period. Super crunchy and packed with veggies, and admittedly, also divine cold out of the fridge. Same with the fried wontons, filled with pork. The sweet and sour shrimp is a treat, with tender plump shrimp and contrasting, still crisp green pepper. The spicy orange chicken is also a win. Shrimp fried rice is another favorite. We also love ordering their soups. From BBQ pork wonton to Chinese vegetable, that homemade flavor shines through. Can't say enough good things. Support this fantastic local business! My uncle who's been coming here for years and years recommended it to me when I moved to the area and I'm so glad he did!
Food was good, customer service was horrible. The greeting we received when we walked in was "sit down." The usual green tea was brought to the table, when brought we weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink, but all the other tables around us were asked. The lady who was our waitress was not friendly at all, but to the other tables she was very welcoming. After she took our orders I asked her twice if we can keep the menu and she grabbed it out of my hand. I had to finally ask for water after we were half way done with our food. Then out of nowhere she brought our check and a to go box, while we were still eating. Didn't even ask us if we wanted to order anything else. So moral of the story if you're not a (white) regular, don't come.

I love Al Palace! Always yummy, fast and reasonable, too! The almond chicken lunch special (11-4) comes with an egg roll. Yum!
