Service was great food was delicious will definitely becoming back.
God service and good food!!!
Hadn’t been here since pre-covid. The Bloody Mary was excellent. Three out of four entrées were good. The beef rib disappointed as it was very greasy. Also the steak soup wasn’t as we remembered it. This was thick and had a lot of mushrooms. Our rating went down a bit from 4 to 3.2 stars. We will still go back and try something else.
This place is the best! If you want a fancy dining experience without having to dress up (unless you want to) this is the place to come. All the food is good, they have lots of sides to choose from and they always offer fresh garlic bread for the table. If you don't purchase alcohol you will probably spend less than $100 for two people, and that's including ordering an appetizer too. Come here, walk around the pond if there is a wait and just have a great time. If you enjoy people watching this place is for you!
First time here and honestly don't know why we waited. The atmosphere, food, and service was wonderful. We had combo plates. Let me say the best mashed sweet potatoes I've ever had also the peach cobbler was fabulous.
We had a party of 8 to celebrate a birthday. The food was good and the service was attentive. We called in to make a reservation for the large party on a Sunday. Although we were told they don't take reservations greater than 6 we had to wait only a short period of time before we were seated, 20 minutes. The server took our drink orders and returned to take the food requests. Service was rather slow between drinks and the food order but that is a kitchen/bar issue. Overall we were pleased with the food and service team and agreed we will return again.
Everyone friendly & professional.I had beef & baby back ribs with baked potato & grilled asparagus.I was expecting real size beef ribs. These were 2 pieces the same size as my baby backs. Both baby backs & beef ribs were warm & very good. The sauce was very good too. My asparagus was tender, warm & delicious. The bread & potato were not warm. The sour cream was forgotten & I had to ask again to bring to me. I couldn’t finish potato because I don’t like it when it’s not hot or at least warm. I was disappointed. If I go again, probably ask for a HOT baked potato or avoid completely.
I eat a very restrictive diet for health reasons, which is often seen as a subset of Vegan or Vegetarian. Today I decided to try their House-Made Veggie Burger. The consistency was like a loose mildly sticky unfinished cookie batter with more weight. The flavor was nothing to write home about, and just picking this burger up to take a bite caused chunks of the patty to break off and fall from the bun.I really had high hopes given the quality of food I tend to get here, but this was a real disappointment. If you prefer to eat Whole Food Plant Based like me, this is simply not something worth trying. A black bean burger patty would have been far better and could have provided the starches needed for calories to fuel my body. I can't really figure out what was intended with this menu option, but the creator is clearly not someone who eats vegan or vegetarian on a regular basis.Maybe it would make sense to consult with someone who actually eats this way? I would love to be able to eat here more frequently (this was a family dinner) but with no reasonable dishes to chose from other than salads and a small number of side dishes, there aren't really any options that provide reasonable fuel for daily requirements.
I never give 5 stars bcz I feel there is always room for improvement. However, our lunch was great, as usual. The service was the best!! The gal although expecting was on her toes. We never needed to "ask" for anything bcz she was on it! We were there to visit with our kids from out-of-state. We never felt rushed to eat and leave. Thank you the best experience.
Our server was Mike and the service was excellect. However, while the food was good, it was superb! The BBQ Baby Back Ribs had a very good flavor, there was as much meat on the ribs compared to other restaurants. The Tri-Tip had a lot of grisly fat on the ends which should have been trimmed before serving. The Garlic buttered rolls were fantastic along with the Mac & Cheese. The Mashed Potatoes lacked flavor and the Cole Slaw was OK. Overall, 4-Stars!
