The atmosphere is what you would expect. Everything seems clean enough and the staff is decently polite and mostly prompt with orders, refills, etc. They are very conscious of the idea that time is money. Reservations are very strict. They made a mistake with our reservation time and # of people which they fixed with minimal attitude once they realized it was their error. The drinks were a little expensive and they were weakly poured. $10 for a watered down Washington apple shot kind of upset me. Large 805 on tap was about $10 as well, I believe. The food was VERY good which IS what keeps making us come back here. But I think this time will be our last for a while and here's why...service fee. It isn't enough that you are paying $30+ a plate for shrimp, rice, salad and soup. They charge our large party of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids- who ate sushi, not habachi) a $80.00 "service charge". ? We aren't strangers to gratuity included with large party's nor are we scared off by expensive meals...I just didn't find this food to be worth the price they were charging. I felt ripped off in a way.Hopefully this is helpful
Excellent choice for a quick business lunch or for those days when you’re trying to spend a little more on yourself without having to go out of town or make reservations.I ate all the food before I even remembered to take a photo! So there’s that. The garlic noodle was strong and the steak was great but the sauces were OK.This spot is out of the way so the waitstaff seemed almost distracted that day but I went for the food, so we’ll ignore them for now. Worth a try if only to scratch it off your list.
First thing I noticed was that it wasn't very clean - lots of food on the floor and on counters. We had a 7:30 reservation and we were finally seated 20 minutes later. By 8:40, no one had even asked us if we wanted water so we left. Dirty restaurant and poor service - no thank you!!
Had a great time at Showgun! Everything we had was good except the Gyozas. They seem like the pot wasn't hot enough when they seared them. I had the mango lemonade and that was really good. I don't drink but other in my party do, and they said they really like the alcoholic drinks here. I'll let the pictures say the rest. I would definitely go here again.
We visited Shogun for my mother-in-law's birthday. The food was great, the chef was fun and very friendly with all of us. Everyone had a great time.
Fun place Good service.
First visit to celebrate a birthday. Service was excellent. Rosa was our server. Food was good and cook was entertaining. Must make reservations in advance. This place is very busy. Ask for more garlic butter when they cook everything! Rib eye and colossal shrimp were great. Sushi appetizers were also very good.
My first experience there was a pleasant one, staff are very friendly, we had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated although we had a reservation but the place was packed! The Hibashi style is cool and the chef cooking live was very nice, clean and made the best food ever, the drinks were on point, I am definitely going there again
Wonderful restaurant with great food and ambiance. The chefs do an amazing job of preparing the meal in an entertaining way that'll delight kids and adults alike. Bonus: the food is delicious, too!
We had a great time. Service was great, food was good and our Chef put on an amazing show!
