Great place! We sat at the bar and our sushi chef was super attentive to our orders.One of the few all you can eat places that have great value and great staff.
I been going to SGC Since 2007, its gone through 3 ownerships. Today's visit their service was bad, wasn't welcoming as usual. Food is great specially when chef Eggy prepares it. Server seemed like it was his first day.
My favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The sushi chef here has been at this location for over 10 years. Recognizes the moment we walk in, and has memorized our order.
I don't like to leave negative reviews for places but this is the 2nd time they either messed up my order on accident or flat out don't care and don't check what they are doing. I ordered the original ramen to go ($13) . On the phone they said it comes with onions, pork, noodles, broth and a hard boiled egg. Got my order and inside one box was a huge block of soggy mush that I think was the noodles at one point. And a big styrofoam cup with a broken lid. Inside the cup was tepid broth with a hard boiled egg and some previously frozen corn. Thats it. No pork, no onions nothing. Not even utensils. People seem to like this place for the sushi but maybe thats all they do well. Definitely not coming here again.

SGC has been my favorite sushi place since it opened. I went there for the first time since the pandemic started and it was better than I remembered!
Used to come out here often when I used to live in Corona. Decided to come out with some coworkers for a Xmas dinner.Venue - Dated but is functional and has a large area for Sushi or Hibachi.Service - Staff is really nice and on point with Service. Always made sure we had everything we needed.Food - Well prepared, fresh, and taste of all proteins was on point.Prices - Fair prices across the board.Drinks - Happy hour deals and nice cold drinks.Parking - Plenty of parking in the side parking lot.Overall great experience and will be coming back again.
The Lemon roll is out of this world delicious! Service was incredibly fast, and our Sushi Chef (I wish I would have got his name) was super friendly. We'll be back!
Used to eat here back in the day. Moved back to corona and tried it again. I got 2 orders of the scallop 2 piece sushi because I’ve never tried it before and I seriously thought i had covid 2 days later. I went and got tested and everything, come to find out I had food poisoning and I’ve never had it like that ever in my life. Made me stop going here and rethink sushi for about 6 months. I know it could be hit or miss but had to put my opinion.
