This establishment was beyond worth the wait for an excellent meal with great attentive service. The ambiance was perfect with four different areas that provide a unique environment depending on who you’re there with or what you’re there for. I personally had the burger with a draft IPA while my daughter enjoyed Mac and cheese and blueberry muffin. Loved it and will definitely return more often.
Mimi's Cafe is a chain restaurant. It's adequate not really a fantastic place. Food is ok. A favorite spot for the local elders. This was my second visit. i make 2 visits before i post. I had the avocado omelet with potatoes. 6/10. Was kind of bland. Not much taste to it. My daughter had the breakfast croissant sandwhich.. 4/10. The egg was burnt a little and the melted cheese was cold when it got to the table. The croissant was greasy which was strange. To be honest I don't think I'd go back.
I had one of the greatest experiences at Mimi’s café from the food to the service Heather was one of the best Service I’ve ever had an interaction with and she earned herself a healthy tip come over here and experience it for yourself!!!!!!! The body meant
Wish I’d taken pics of my food for the review because our breakfast was a culinary delight and was beautifully arranged to boot. I got the marbled waffle with fresh fruit on the side and scrambled eggs for some protein. Even the coffee was fresh and tasty and just for good measure, the waitress was outstanding about staying on top of our refills. Mimi’s still is high quality and it’s such a shame that the franchise has closed so many (if not all) of our Arizona locations. I’m not sure why that is. However, when I find myself in California, I will be sure to stop by this location. Conveniently located in my old hometown.
Went in for lunch at noontime. The place was pretty empty. We ordered the « sandwich trio » . I was surprised with my sandwich which was the tuna cheddar melt because it was only a half of a sandwich. The same went for the turkey one. Served with a small Caesar salad and fries. The fries were odd and all clumped together, but tasted fine. Dessert was a crème brûlée and a lemon cake. Both were good. All in all, with 2 soft drinks and a 18% tip, the bill was pricy at close to 70 dollars! It would have been easier to swallow if the sandwiches were full size!
A nice place for breakfast, they have a lot of varieties for breakfast, the ham is so nice and comes hot, the portions are big and very tasty, cappuccino was ok

Ordered to go and paid 30 for one meal. that's fine but then you get almost no food.... I totally get raising prices but don't skimp out on food when people are paying the higher prices for it. pretty disappointing that I'm getting a child's sized portion of food for 30 bucks
Fernando (the manager) was great! Fast, attentive, funny and friendly. We enjoyed our stay more then what we imagined and would love to get served by him again. ?
