This place is a hidden gem! It does not look like much but food is real authentic home Mexican cooking. The carnitas are fatty, flavorful and delicious. On top of that, the tortilla de maiz are "hechas a mano" (made from scratch). The salsas are made with some kick ? but not extremely hot for ppl like me that doesn't eat super spicy. In my opinion, this place is underrated, I'm surprised there is not a line out the door from this place. I have not tried everything on the menu but I can tell they do everything fresh and is home-cooked just the way I grew up eating. Give the carnitas tacos a try and see for yourself. Great prices too! PS I give four stars because I do think the place needs to be updated. Food is great tho!!!

First time here, Ordered a Torta mexicana. It was the slops. Hotdogs, slices of pig fat, jalapeños and carrots. Honestly trash.
Friendly servers, I ordered a torta de carne asada and it was delicious. Their red salsa was yummy.

Their veggie torta feel real light and healthy, delicious and fresh. Their veggie sopes too.

1st time buying tortas here. I was pleasantly impressed. Not over the top and just right. Great flavor. Will return again for certain. Getting hungry just thinking about it ?
