WOW!! finally some amazing food ! this was my first time trying Lao food and I must say I LOVE IT. 10/10 SO DELICIOUS AND SO FLAVORFUL! i love every meat on the combination plate but the ribs are my favorite.
You can never go wrong with sticky rice and an order of their juicy and delicious chicken. I also loved the jerky, sausage, and marinade for the meat.Everything has flavor *chef's kiss*
Delicious Laotian food bbq mix plate is my favorite
Got the fried marinaded beef, taste is fine. The salad that came with it have pretty good dressing. The rice is a fail, overcooked and falling apart.
I love the papaya salad, I would make my son go get me the salad once a week. The bbq chicken is a family’s favorite
Was looking for something spicy. Stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked in the back of a big parking lot right off the freeway.Right away, I noticed how bright and clean the front was which is a good sign. Immediately after entering I was greeted by a big smile and a friendly 'hello.' The menu is simple and easy to read but the girl still offered a recommendation which I really like when they do that. And it was a great one.The combo plate has short ribs, chicken, sausage, and a pork rib with rice and a side salad. Very reasonably priced especially for the quality. There are very few Laotian places I know of and even those are not as authentic and tasty as this one. The girl was very helpful as she offered side sauces which I devoured. This not only hit the spot but it tickled it and told funny jokes afterwards. Perfect.I will definitely return. I gotta try the papaya salad. I have no doubt it is excellent.
The food was grrrreat! Came here for the first time and ordered a bbq mix plate with a double salad thinking it would be two different types of salads (Similar to Hawaiian barbecues macaroni salad.) It turns out it wasn’t so I went up to the counter and asked if I could exchange for a different salad or rice. The cashier explain to me that he couldn’t take the salad back, although I think they normally don’t do this, he insisted on giving me a different side instead. All in all, great customer service, I will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you Kra Z Kai’s BBQ.
I got the combo plate and the beef dip plate. It was all bomb. The Lao sausage is actually the best I've ever had. It was juicy, fatty, full of flavor, and balanced. The papaya salad was basic. I'm not sure why it was considered Lao papaya salad. I didn't even taste padak in it. When I say basic, I mean like, it tasted like a Non-Southeast-Asian made it. It was real bland and it didn't look like it was thum together. The papaya was shredded and mixed and topped with green beans and tomatoes. It hit the spot but man, a true papaya salad would have been the gravy on top of everything. I like the place and support it so giving it 5 stars ;)
Today my hubby and I tried Kra Z Kai's BBQ and we were pleasantly surprised about how good and fresh the food is! Everything tasted great! I ordered the chicken and it was awesome! So juicy! The sauce that the give to go with the chicken is also so yummy & it goes great with the chicken! My hubby ordered the combo plate that comes with the Chicken, Beef, a Rib not sure if it's pork out beef and a sausage link! I forgot to say that their papaya salad is also yummy!! He also ordered the beef jerky! OMG was that yummy!!Their plates also comes with your choice of rice! They have all kinds of rice!! Fried rice, Brown rice White rice! Lol.He also ordered a yummy papaya salad and It works perfectly with the whole meal! It was a little expensive!! But considering what's happening in the world nowadays and the rationing of food It's kind of understandable!! The food & service was definitely worth it! ? I really liked their Chicken and my Hubby loved the dish that he ordered too!I think it's safe to say we'll definitely be back for more!! Lol ?% ??
This is a Laotian style food. If you never tasted their style, and you're expecting food typical to Chinese, Tye, Vietnamese, or Korean with a strong flavorful dishes, this will probably not work for you. They use a sesame sauce for the salad, a semi sweet sauce for the meat and a somihot sauce for ??? The sausage has a very different taste that I could not identify the meat or flavor. The Laotian style Tee is ?? different. Not something I'll order again.Food is well prepared and service is excellent. This style food can best be described as bland and none eventful. I went as many people wrote raving reviews but I question their objectivity. I say I'll always try just about anything once. Not planning on repeating my visit.
