Horrible food. I have no idea why this place is so glorified. Ordered fajitas and everything was overcooked and dry. Veggies were basically scorched. I have had better fajitas at bars. Salmon tacos are a joke. Even when you ask for fillers on the side and they can’t follow simple requests. Only one server on duty. Told there was a 15 minute wait at 3:30pm and the place was deserted. Should have been my first clue to run to in n out.
Unfortunately this wasn't the best experience at this location. The food was ok but my order came out wrong, luke warm and they forgot a side order. The service was very slow, from being seated to waiting for our check to be picked up a total of 2 hrs during happy hour (4:30pm)that wasn't packed.
It was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive.
The service was excellent and not only from the person waiting on our table, the entire staff was attentive and friendly. Looking forward to going back again.
Brought my Dad for father's day weekend breakfast. The creamer was rotten the food was cold the coffee was old . The food was no flavor..like taco bell is better.. we didn't get salt pepper to flavor the bland food . I been to other El torito an this is not living up to the name .. salsa had an onion peel the size of the bowl . Definitely need to go to experience the real deal at a different location..
It’s El Toronto so you know it’s gonna be excellent! The chips here are always outstanding and just fresh and crisp. The salsa is very fresh and always superb.
Quasi Mexican food done well. More a fast casual than sit down and dine. The food is good, fresh and prepared well. Really only let down by a being a little slow on service, not an individual doing a poor job, but they could do with more staff at busy hours.
I had previously had a bad experience here and we went back to try again. This time the food was exactly what I ordered and was hot and delicious. We did have the same waitress as last time, and once she recognized us her mood changed and she seemed very indifferent. We will go to Riverside location next time.
The manager at this El Torito is amazing. So is all the staff. Awesome food!!
Very substandard Mexican food. I would not recommend this restaurant chain.
