I'm really angry at myself for not eating here sooner. We've lived a couple miles away for 16 years, missing out on this wonderful place. This is really a 5-star, full-service Mexican restaurant cleverly hidden in a modest taqueria in an old Taco Bell building. Of course the tacos are amazing. But also burritos, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, flautas etc. And nice Mexican dinners, including a lot of wonderful seafood dishes. The Camarones a la Diabla is my absolute favorite, with an exquisite smoky red chile sauce. Everything is beautifully presented, even in takeout containers! There are always fresh tortilla chips, and an extensive salsa bar. And OMG the flan - silky with a lovely soft vanilla flavor. Churros too! Don't waste 16 years like I did. Eat there now!
Good food, a solid little restaurant for dining in or take out.The cook knows his stuff !Staff is very helpful and keeps the tables spotless.Super burrito with carnitas is my favorite, but burrito with steak is also lovely. They have a wide range of Bev's, including beers and soft drinks, carbonated and carbo-free.Lots of take out business, so go early.
My boyfriend and I eat here all the time. Foods always good
Stopped in for a late dinner. Good menu. I had a chile relleno and a carne aside taco with cheese. Chile relleno was the best item but smelled a little weird - I think it’s that not quite clean plate smell. Taco was barley OK. Chips, as others have noted, too thick and greasy. Rice and beans were okay plus. Salsa bar pretty good. Prices very reasonable. It’s fine if you are at Todos Santos Square and craving Mexican food. Otherwise, I’d skip it. Also, it might be better at lunch when the food is fresher.
Food is really good and we have have tried many taqueris's. Just found out they do birria tacos and will try next time!
One of the worse Mexican feed experiences I ever had. This is coming from someone who grew up in San Diego and have been eating Mexican food since 1985. My shrimp quesadilla was full of dirty shrimp and had absolutely NO flavor. Even their salsa bar was flavorless I left 3/4 of the quesadilla on the table. Disgusting!
Very good food I've had their tacos the burritos are very big and heavy wide selection on meats but it depends on if it's to your preference
I only buy my Mexican food from these guys in the area. Best food and plenty of options to customize my food. Not to mention reasonably priced. Spinach tortilla for the win! 10/10 *Chefs Kiss* ?
This place is excellent and has good prices!
Love their little $1.40 tacos! Always hit the spot.
