My typical go-to was closed today, so I diverted to here instead. It was okay. Not terribly clean or organized (which makes a big difference visually). The food was fine. Would have enjoyed the cheese to have been melted, or the enchilada to have more flavor. The green sauce was cold and seemed straight from a can.The salsa, the restaurant’s namesake, was okay. Somewhat fresh, but lacked flavor.Service was fine. Prices were about average.Probably won’t return unless some of those areas are addressed.

This is my favorite Mexican place in Concord at the moment. The portions are generous. The price is reasonable. They have options if you want balls of grease or something a little lighter. The Buche and Tripa are both nice and soft. They'll even make a pambazo if you ask, which you should.

UPDATE:This was the only Mexican restaurant I lovED going to here in Concord. BUT after ordering the wet burrito that I have ordered many times before. This one was not good at all. The tortilla felt stale when I was cutting into it, and it also tasted stale. Usually the meat would be juicy and tender. But again this time the carne asada was burnt, it was hard like it had been sitting out all day.I don't know if I will go back. I ate less than half, only because I was super super hungry, but the experience of eating it was very disappointing.Again, I used to love this place but now I guess I have to find another Mexican restaurant.Prior:I love this place, such a good place to get good Mexican food. They're very friendly and the service is quick. They take care of you. Everytime I visit it's nice and clean, salsa are always fresh and full. Just love this place.

Looks like a nice facility little dirty inside when I went in. Ordered a super Asada burrito and it came out mostly rice mostly beans with a little bit of meat mixed you could barely tell there was meat in it. Did you give me a few chips with my burrito but didn’t give me no salsa and the chips were stale. It’s looking to me like this place is about ready to fall another sad remind her of the pandemic. Definitely find a different place if you want to be happy with your meal. Because I am so unhappy with my meal I’m on the freeway driving and trying to find the name of the place before I forget so I can warn other people so they do not have the same bad experience I’ve just had

Great food taco plate was a hit. Thanks.

Kind of expensive for what it is, to be honest. Expect to spend around 15 per person for lunch.

Asada tasted like fish ?

ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT! After paying, I’m not sure why because I usually don’t, but I asked for my receipt and the gentleman hesitated and asked me to hold on. He fumbled around on the screen for a solid 30 seconds before handing me my receipt. Here’s why he seemed hesitant when I asked for my receipt...On a $20 purchase he had added a $5 tip for himself!!! That’s also why it took him so long to provide me my receipt because he was trying to refund me my money! I’ve worked in the restaurant business, I would have definitely tipped the man, but once I saw that, no way! I wonder how many others pay with a card and he adds his own tip because they don’t ask for their receipt! Additionally, the breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos were nothing special, pretty bland actually and my eggs were way over cooked brown which is disappointing because I specifically chose this place due to the rave reviews for breakfast burritos.

I love this place...best wet burrito I've ever had. Very unique red sauce. Highly recommended and owner operated, cant beat that anywhere!!!!!

Great food, great customer service. I have been living in the area for over 30 years and had never gone. BOY WAS I MISSING OUT!!
