Really wanted to like this place, as there aren't many pho joints in this part of the East Bay. With all the glowing reviews, maybe I'll try again, but as of now, not great. The pho broth was a bit sweet for my preference, but acceptable for some. They definitely skimped on the ingredients, this even includes the noodles. I mean, I understand cutting costs on meat...but noodles? Finally, the noodles may have been WAY overcooked as they felt like mush in my mouth. Wife confirmed that there were something wrong with them.Ordered the rice plate with pork chop, eggs, shrimp cake. The pork chop flavor was ok, but completely lacked any char that is characteristic of vietnamese grilled pork. The shrimp cake was meh.Egg rolls were crispy, but the ingredients were meh.Overall, I'd skip it, but maybe one day I'll try again. At least the prices were somewhat fair given how other places are raising them pretty rapidly.
You’re unable to order a kids noodle to go because it’s too small for the container. That’s weird, because it’ll fit…leaving the container half empty. We were forced to order a small which is nearly triple the portion for my child. Such an annoyance to have this on the menu but not allowed to order it to-go. It doesn’t make sense.Ordered a large and a small option but my large is the same portion as my small. Requested Thai tea with no ice and the cup is not full. Odd because they didn’t want to serve me kids noodle because it won’t fill the container lolBroth has MSG, no option to order it without. Service is questionable although food is good.
Kevin's NoodleHouse is the most amazing place ever, The service was fast, friendly and caring about my experience. The pho I chose was 17 beef it was sooo delicious. Next time I go I'll be more open to there offers. I figured they are the best when it comes to soups I'm sure they gonna wow me with other types of food because usually I don't eat any different types of food but this one was worth it and I'll Stat to adventure with my food options ?.
My Mom and I went in for lunch..and...IT WAS EXELLENT!!!..the Waiter took such great care of us..offering selections he thought we would like...we got the # 2 PHO..with noodles, sausage and tripe..fresh basil..lemon and fresh jalapeños..bamboo shoots...we highly recommend this restaurant..over by 99 Ranch...the Waiter was one of the BEST servers I've ever had!!..Thank you!
Quick service. Vigilant vaccination checks. Food is generous and consistently good! I feel like their noodles used to be more al dente, but that's just my preference.
The best vietnamese beef stew in contra Costa county. Not oily, good cuts of beef, extremely flavorful, big portions and very inexpensive.
My first time at Kevin’s Noodle House was amazing! The service was fast, helpful, friendly and caring about my experience. The Pho ? I chose was 22A Chicken- basic- but sooo delicious! Next time I go I’ll be more adventurous. I figured they nailed the basic- I’m sure they gonna wow me with other Vietnamese delicacy!
Every time come in here to get a bowl of soup and tea the service is wonderful and my soup is great. A musttry place. Very busy during the lunch hour…. Just a FYIbut if not in a hurry it’s worth the wait?
The food is good, I would just make sure you look at the in-store pricing because the online menu is not correct in pricing. I bought spring rolls and they are twice as much in store as the online price
Very rude waiters and one of the waiters had finger in my soup bowl ! when transporting it to my table I was disgusted. Never going back after seeing that.
