I have been here a few years ago and expected the same taste but I was terribly disappointed. We ordered chicken Biryani and it was nothing but white rice mixed with chicken curry. I am surprised how they can call it a Biryani, this is purely cheating the cuisine. The Chicken Vindaloo tasted watery. I hate to give negative feedback but please consider this as an opportunity to correct the mistake. The first step to fix an issue is to accept there is an issue. Good luck!

Small but bigger than you can imagine on food and service the best.

This place has been our (wife and mine) weekly takeout meal for well over a year, sometimes a couple times a week. The quality and service has been declining for some time. As vegetarians, we let the “mistake” of giving us chicken in our order a couple months back slide despite receiving nothing more than a disingenuous “sorry about that” with no offered refund on the order. But last night was the last straw.Ordered our usual meal online, showed up roughly an hour after the order was placed, and they had yet to make one of the 5 things ordered. What’s worse: it took them 30 minutes to make the missing item, shuffling the last item (vegetarian) to the back of the line. Received the order with 3 cold items and one hot. Made it home to find that they still managed to screw up the order with mistakes on the other items ordered.Crazy enough, another long time “regular” customer stuffed in the corner had seemingly placed his last order with them as well as he voiced his own frustration at their lack of care towards late orders and waiting customers…It’s the Bay Area, there are plenty of good options for Indian and ethnic food. Time to find a new favorite…

You have to try their garlic naan! Delicious!

Food was great with tons of flavor. Portions can be large with many items shareable. Layout is such that tables are meant to be shared, and they are all filled at lunchtime. I would return.

Was very delicious ? everything !!!???

I got the Nahari and it was absolutely great. The restaurant is a bit tight space wise, but it is pretty obvious that it is super popular.

This place is very busy but the food is very tasty. The reason for the 3 stars is that they don't answer the phone for orders and when I made my order in person the man was a little rude. Also the nan they sell is not very good. It is very hard and does not have much flavor. However the curry I ordered had lots of flavor and the rice was perfect.

Last time we’ll order from Naan n Curry. So many issues with our order last night, they’ve been going downhill for awhile. The previous time we had issues, but thought it was a one off so we tried again. I think they’re unprepared for the amount of customers they have and that has clearly effected the quality. For starters our order was ready 1 hour past the time we were told it supposed to be ready. We ordered at 6pm, was told it would be 20-25 min. It was not ready until 7:15pm (by the time we got home to eat it was almost 2 hours after we ordered?‍♀️). They kept saying it was almost ready. They forgot one of our dishes and an order of naan. We requested mild spice and it was absolutely NOT mild. It was spiced hot to the max. For us, totally inedible our mouths were burning so much we couldn’t eat it. This happened last time we ordered as well. The chicken curry had 4 or 5 chunks of chicken only (they forgot our other curry). The vindaloo had 2 tiny drumsticks (like from a Cornish game hen?) and the sauce was like spicy hot oil. The palak paneer as well, maybe 7 pieces of cheese cubes. Too much (blazing hot) sauce not enough food. Very very disappointed. We used to love this place but will not be going back.

The owner is very rude. No matter how much bbq you order, he’ll only give 1 small mint chutney container. When you order door dash, he won’t give that 1 container. If you ask for more, he’ll be rude and ask you tobuy- not understanding how can you have so much bbq with 1 container chutney. We used to order a lot but now we don’t. We only do when we either make chutney at home or pick up from the store but even then this place is our 4th or 5th choice
