The shrimp flautas appetizer amazing. The Irish coffee cocktail amazing. The service? Amazing. Pricey for sure, but really good.

I wet last week and had bone marrow, warm olives and raw oysters. All were great! But…checking out the menu I noticed they charge twice as much for their lobster and clams that the Walnut Creek yacht club does for theirs. Also two to five dollars more on several other items. So since no one else serves bone marrow that will be the only reason I will go back.
Alex at the bar is a wizard of mixology and the cocktails he makes are some of the best I have ever had. the Nicky and Pedro show, the Conclusion and The I Like Your Spirit where amazing drinks and the food was amazing. $1.50 oysters can't be beat for freshness
Its hard to write a mixed review was awful but management made it right.My other half and I went to Longport to try a new place. We had been at Yard House next door and realized there was a new place in town and wanted to try it. We walked in at the location was very clean and inviting. The decor was very pretty. It wasn't packed maybe about 20 people in total as we decided to go much earlier than we usually eat.Our waitress was young and seemed to be new to the industry. She was kind, however slightly uneducated on the drink menu as well as the food menu. She seemed timid to re ask questions to ensure order was proper and understand the importance when a customer mentions an allergy. Overall she had amazing potential, but could really benefit from additional training to grow her confidence and understanding.The drinks: We ordered one beer and it came out fine. I ordered their Hibiscus Ginger Beer which you had the choice of adding a spirit. I am 100% confident that my drink didn't come out with any spirit in it. I had ordered dark rum added and it was crystal pink. When questioned about the drink the waitress asked the bartender and she confirmed it had rum but it did not for sure.The Food: We ordered a few items..Oysters: This was where things first went wrong. We ordered 2 dozen and only one dozen came out. We started eating the dozen and every single one had shells in it. We had to flag down our waitress and then she said the second one was coming out but it took almost 20 minutes and then the second dozen came out with even more shell. They need to work on their shucking. The freshness of the oyster though were AMAZINGCrispy Cauliflower: There isn't anything I can say about this dish but it was DELICIOUS. FIRE AMAZINGEntree Mussels: I ordered this specific dish for myself, specifically because it had pork belly. It is one of my favorites. Sadly this dish disappointed. The mussels were not all open a good portion of the ones servers were still closed. The dish had NO pork belly which was very disappointing to me and there for fell short for me. They should put a little pepper on the menu for this dish as well. This dish was spicy and had some heat. Something I don't enjoy and would not have ordered knowing this.Mary's Grilled Chicken Sandwich: This is a hard one to write about. My other half had asked our server to help us decide knowing we had mentioned a "CILANTRO ALLERGY". She recommend this sandwich over the LFC burger. When it came he bit into the sandwich and immediately had to run to the bathroom. This sandwich was burnt on the outside and raw still in the middle, additional he immediately noticed the "slaw" was smothered in Cilantro. We immediately ended our dinner.Once we asked for the check and our waitress noticed we stopped eating she asked what was wrong. We told her what happen and the manager immediately came over. All we can say is WOW on her professionalism and kindness and understanding. She really tried to make everything right. She was open to hearing calm feedback (we don't yell) and accepted all our feedback. She begged us to make it right but we really were ready to leave. In the end she really made it right: She sent us home with a new dish for my other with absolutely no cilantro and a bowl of clam chowder. These dishes which were consumed later at home were amazing! She also sent me home with the drink I ordered and all the fixings and WOW! Not only did the drink confirm it wasn't right when I got it the first time, but now that I had the correct drink. It was amazing!!!! The entire drink was amazing.So while we won't be rushing back, we haven't wrote them off. I am in hope our feedback made a positive impact. I think as they develop their menu and staff the overall the experience could get better. The management seem committed to making it right. It just could have ended really badly for us with the allergy issues sadly.

I think Longport has a lot of potential, but there was a dead fly in my cocktail !! It's was absolutely disgusting, and when I told the server she looked at it but couldn't care less. Not ok.I dunno if I would recommend this place unless they do better!
