I've seen Patria Coffee Roasters on a few different Best Coffee Shop in LA lists so when I was on my train ride home from Long Beach, I stopped by Compton to check out this little coffee shop. Before discovering Patria, the only thing I knew about Compton is that it's the hometown to the Williams sisters, but I had no idea where it is and I would not have guessed that I'd come to Compton for a coffee shop.It was a worthy visit indeed. I mean, I wouldn't take the metro and come from LA just for a cup of coffee but at least Patria deserves those best of mentions. My flat white was on point, I enjoyed it even though I was tired and full after a long run and a food tour in downtown LBC.The shop is smaller than I expected, the coffee bar and service counter on one side and a few small tables on the other. It was packed during my Sunday afternoon visit. When I saw their bean bags on the merchandise shelf, it occurred to me that I've seen them at a local coffee shop in Hollywood. The bean bag design features a picture of the coffee shop, seen from its front lawn. There is a sense of pride and belonging in that picture, and that's what I felt about the coffee shop too.
Love this place. Customer service is always great! Guests are always friendly. It’s a great atmosphere to work or to have a chat with a friend. The restroom always clean and outside too.
This shop holds a special place because I grew up here as a teen and coming back to Compton as an adult is nostalgic and bittersweet in some ways. The coffee here is always spot on and it's the perfect place to read, catch up with friends or simply to people watch.
Stopped by for a quick coffee and was not disappointed. The Cafè de Olla Cold Brew is the way too go!! The iced latte was also very good. Very nice ambience inside and the workers are extremely friendly and inviting.
The caffe the olla is popular for a reason! I got it iced and don't regret it. Most importantly can I just say this little shop has some of the greatest vibes! Beautiful and friendly folks that a return is definitely a must. Thank you for the welcome!
My experience with the service was not good. The barista was super serious. He is not a friendly person. But whetever… the coffee and the place i loveed them.Barista ??Coffee ??
I get the iced red eye with honey-lavender and coffee cake. Yoshon and Stephanie are the best. Support!
Easy parking. Quick service. Had the drip coffee which was great. The Ibarra mocha was not too sweet and I’d definitely get it again. Took a bag of the espresso beans to go.
The coffee taste really good and the customer service was really good. The lady was very polite and apologetic about the wait time. but I feel there needs to be more then one staff making the drinks. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes in a line of like 6 people because there was just one employee who was taking a order, making the order, and then taking the next order. Multiple customers behind me left after 30 minutes or so. I don’t feel it’s fair for the lady working either.
They’re very friendly and welcoming! I got the café de olla Iced latte and it was amazing! Will definitely be coming back!
