The food is really good. Not shown was the miso soup & rice that came with the meal. Definitely going back for more
Hadn't been here in years but decided to come for sushi. We ordered the Sayaka boat for two. It came with tons of sushi and sashimi which was nicely displayed. I like my sushi colder. We also got a very basic salad. Soup which my husband liked, very small Bay scallops and shrimp and various tempura items. It was good but the service from the waitress was nonexistent and then at the end, she added a 15% tip for herself and if you didn't check the receipt first, you might tip again because the tip did not show up on the merchant copy. I think this was sneaky and we generally tip 20+% so she lost out. Also, all the menus and counter tops/table tops had a sticky feel. It was ok but it will be a long time before we come back here, if at all. See pics, it does look enticing...
Well what can I say food is awesome and delicious hot no let downs and our cook Marcos was absolutely great had great jokes and made you feel very welcome he is awesome request him if possible , Sayaka is #1 in our book we love and will keep coming back as long as they are open!!!!!!!!
Food is great and priced fairly… giving a 2 star cause they automatically add tip 15% even if you’re eating alone.. sneak it in.. check your bill
Wanted to share this experience, I notice they overcharged me when I saw my credit card stmt . I would 've never known if I didn't check. I was just reviewing my stmt. I feel it's not the first time be careful, sure enough they reimbursed me once they checked.
I've been coming here around 8 years. This used to be one of the best AYCE sushi spots in the Inland Empire. Unfortunately, my last 4 visits or so have been all around terrible. I'm honestly one of the last to complain, but the service has taken a serious nosedive.Once you're seated, the waits are long. My last four visits it's taken almost 10 minutes just to be greeted/get drinks started. Orders are constantly messed up. My latest visit I was charged for the incorrect check (over $200 when my bill was $85).To top it all off, they now charge a 15% gratuity on all orders regardless of party size, nor do they notify you, so make sure you don't tip on top of the automatic charge.I was still charged the 15% gratuity without asking after being accidentally charged $200 for the wrong check. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after many years of going to Sayaka.
Hadn't been there in a while, but I can tell they were short staffed. Regardless, they did the best they could to accommodate my large party of 12. The only issue I had was that my steak was well done despite asking for medium cooked. Food was great, the staff was nice, and they even helped me celebrate my sister's birthday. Definitely going back!
The sushi here is really good and the kids meals are served in a cute boat. The wait time can be a bit long but once you're seated, the customer service is good. If you don't feel like waiting, you can call the restaurant and make a reservation.

Sushi is half price, I've only ordered it to go. We tried dining in for sushi, we walked back and seated ourselves. There was 2 sushi chefs. After 15 minutes, we were never offered menus or greeted lol. We walked out and went to Miyagi's. Just awful and although sushi is half off, its basically the same price anywhere else. I believe its a gimmick that works. I will most likely order take out again. Sushi is good. I recommend dining in when you want hibachi but take out for sushi. They need to strategize on their sushi customer service side especially with it being half off. You lost an easy 150 with us walking out. All you had to do was acknowledge us and let us know you'd be taking our order...something.
