Portions and flavor were not worth the price. I personally felt ripped off paying what I did for a few pieces of small shrimp with cheese on top. The server was friendly and attentive hence the 2 stars .
The food was okay. I had to add salt and chile to my shrimp tostada to make it taste a little better. We were a big party so it did take a while for our food to be ready. Our food arrived at different times. The horchata was delicious. I will not be returning to dine at Mariscos Espinoza.
Love this restaurant! After seeing the recent reviews this place has gotten, it got me upset. I come from L.A just to eat here with my family. Sure, all the food isn’t amazing but I can assure you that their Michelada is one of the best I have tried and fried calamari (chicharon de calamar) is the best seafood appetizer ever! They need to work on their fried fish because it’s a bit heavy on the breading. Fish soup is a solid rich taste. The staff has always been friendly they are mostly busy. I could see why they might accidentally ignore customers everybody is asking for their service. Overall, this place deserves some love because they actually care about their food and service.
They were rushing customers to leave right away at closing. Was very upset because I wasn’t done eating. Bad for business but the server’s were very nice.
WORST PLACE EVER TO EAT.WE ORDERED A CHEVICHE DEAD YOU NOT THE SHIRMP WAS NOT EVEN COOKED IN LIME IT WAS RAW HAD NO SALT NO FLAVOR AT ALL.THE FELIETE EMPANEZADO WAS TO SALTY RICE HAD NO FLAVOR BEANS TASTED SPOILED HAD A WERID SMELL. FOR THE FRYED FISH NO FLAVOR AS WELL NOTHING THERE WAS GOOD 80 BUCKS DOWN THE DRIAN FOR SOME NASTY FOOD. THE STAFF WELL COMPLETELY IGNORE YOU NEVER ASK IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. OVERALL NEVER GOING BACK TO A PLACE THAT JUST THROWS NON FLAVOR MAYBE FROZEN FOOD ON A PLATE NG CHARGE 20 FOR IT.
Great food and good portions. I was able to order ceviche and tea for under 9$ where everywhere else it would have been closer to $20
El servicio fatal con la mesera que nos tocó de muy mala gana nos atendió le pedimos refill de bebidas y nunca lo llevo fue otra muchacha que lo hizo y salió un pelo en la comida y todavía pregunta que es le que tiene ?? ósea todavía su cara de enojo .. Anteriormente he venido y nada que ver con el servicio de ahora yo también soy mesera y se trata de hacer sentir bien alos clientes y uno viene a disfrutar la comida no a mirar jetas de las meseras si no saben trabajar en este ramo mejor que no lo hagan....

The food was disgusting! Nothing was fresh ! Tomatoes, onion, cucumber...HORRIBLE!!! I ordered a margarita they gave me a cup of strawberry syrup and ice ABSOLUTELYNO ALCOHOL. service sucks. Never again waste of money !
