Although they had a variety of food to chose from, I was not a big fan. The tacos were not that great and the food was overpriced.I'm sure there are other instances where the food is up to par, but not in this instance.
Good portions for the money. However food was overly cooked breaded shrimp was borderline burnt as almost everything else in the mar y tierra molcajete.
Hostess was very nice and accommodated my needs. She was attentive while I dined. The food was delicious! I loved all of the cotija cheese, they did not skrimp! Excited to try more menu items here. Today I had the red chillequiles
Chapala restaurant in Colton I gave this place a 3 stars for the food it was great but customer service could be better. The outside of restaurant needs to be kept clean and the inside could a refreshing.
We loved everything about this place. The food was great and reminded me of back home. We can't wait to come back and try new things on the menu. We came here and tried the molcajete. It was the perfect portion sized for two. Service was also amazing!

We ordered empanadas, nachos, tacos, molcajete, chorizo con queso. The eaters we ordered took along time. Once she brought the molcajete we had to remind her about the water which was about 20 minutes waiting. The molcajete and the tortillas we so good, the chorizo had like fat chuncks in it, tacos asada was ok. After bringing the molcajete it took about 15 minutes to get the nachos and had to remind them about the empanadas, 30 minutes past, I had to cancelled the empanadas. After all she said she wouldn't charge for them. I wont go back
I can't complain about the food, the truth is good taste and good price, what if it leaves a little to be desired is that the place is quite dirty and the waitresses do not sweep or someone from the kitchen staff, the place is a bit old but they owe the garbage all over the place it looks bad, but if that doesn't affect them the food and micheladas are fine lol
Food was great. Service was good for only one waitress working at the time.
Excellent, fresh, delicious food. I ordered a wet chicken burrito to go. Waited less than 10 min.
