We had a wonderful experience. Wait staff were amazing. Everything was yummy, start to finish. Can’t wait to return.
Today was our first time here. We called when they opened at 10am and was able to make reservations for the same day for their Sunday Brunch Buffet at 11am. On Sundays they only serve a brunch buffet for $25 per person and bottomless mimosas for $17 per person. They close for an hour to shift the kitchen and will reopen for dinner in the evening so be prepared for a brunch buffet if you come on a Sunday morning.Service was great. Friendly, fast and they checked up on us consistently. They even let a gentleman come in to check out what was being served on the buffet table before deciding to dine. I thought that was nice since it’s $25 per person. The place was nice and clean. They have patio seating in the front and back of the restaurant as well.They make eggs Benedict upon request which our server let us know since it’s not at the buffet table or a sign letting us know it was even an option. Today they had waffles, french toast, cinnamon rolls, fruit, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, quiche, salad with vinaigrette, mushrooms & asparagus, Mac N Cheese, Tri Tip & rice pilaf.The food tasted great and is good quality, totally worth $25 per person. I am someone who can’t make up their mind because I want to eat a little bit of everything so a brunch buffet is perfect for me. Also, breakfast is my favorite meal and I don’t mind paying good money for good food. If you compare to Denny’s and IHOP’s prices, you’re already paying more than half to what you’re going to pay at The Local and The Local has better food and service in my opinion. And, why not help a local establishment rather than a chain restaurant? If you’re wondering where else I’ve eaten for my local breakfast comparison? I shall tell you…Red Apple Cafe, Fresno Breakfast House, Benediction, Quail State, Huckleberry’s just to name a few. The Local is a legit place for brunch and I definitely recommend it. I’m excited to return to try their dinner menu as well.
I had to make a trip to my hometown in Clovis on very short notice and decided to try a restaurant out that I’ve not yet tried. I must say that I was impressed! I ordered The Local Burger and to say it was delicious is an understatement!! Each bite of this burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful! What juices that didn’t go into my mouth went onto my plate. Instead of fries I upgraded to their Mac and cheese; and oh wow was this so good. My mouth salivated with each cheesy bite! I had an orange ? wheat ? Pilsner Beer ?. I highly recommend coming here. Remember, preparing really good food takes time.

My family and I were very excited to eat here! However, due to how poorly we were treated, we decided to go to a different restaurant for lunch. I wish we had a different experience because the food looks great and we enjoy supporting restaurants with locally-sourced ingredients.
Absolutely loved my dining experience here, amazing service, quality cocktails, and well crafted food. Dani was our server, and although she got really busy, she was super attentive and made us feel welcome. 100% coming back for another awesome experience!
Stopped by to get dinner and we are glad we did. The tempura fried green beans are made in a wonderful batter and salted just right. The Pesto Linguini (we added chicken) melted in your mouth, all the food came out hot. The garlic bread was so good! The server and bus boy were welcoming and to top it off the whether was perfect so we ate outside.

I had a really wonderful experience here. Really good local food. They have a good wine. They have a good atmosphere. And the staff is upbeat and on it. I highly recommend it.
