For the past week, I’ve been trying to get resolution to an honest error on their part and a lack of attention on mine, but I’ve been stonewalled continually (have been passed to four different employees, with no response (while promised) from the owner (with this apparently Anna), and a general complete lack of concern to my issue. Using a gift card, the cashier did not understand that I was using the card ($100) and my visa ($23)for the total purchase; I think she thought the card was empty, thus using my visa (my account shows the total being charged to my Visa)...she asked if I wanted to toss the card, and assuming she had used it in my purchase, I indicated yes. I am so surprised that I have to write this (the Meat Market has always been a favorite) and I understand the error buttheir lack of response and concern is aamazing. Indeed, my son is cancelling plans to use Meat Market for an upcoming, huge July 4th bbq, my son-in-law will do the same, and of course, I need to find a new butcher as well. I guess, to a retired, old man, $100 still has some significance but the lack of customer service is more profound.
My go to for steaks and other meat. And they have a great mini store, including beer and wine. And dont forget their take out smoked tri tip and sides, located around the side of the store.
Best place in clovis/fresno to get top quality cuts of meat. Lots of grilling and smoking products to complete your BBQ as well, highly recommend shopping here!!
Meat is terrible. Fatty cuts of overpriced meat. The marinades sound great, but the meat is such low quality that the marinades don't help. I go back hoping for improvements, but Im always disappointed. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
Nicole was so helpful on helping us get dietary suggestions for meals which was complicated in its self I really appreciated the time she put into it great customer service skills
Live the meat market in general, super bowl Sunday I went in the get a pre seasoned tri tip. , Be careful I brought one home that had over 50 percent fat. It was $40 tri-tip that fed 3 people after it was cooked. The seasoning covers up the fat

This place sells the beef/chicken/etc. cuts and will also sell you the cooked beef/chicken/etc. if you prefer. Works really well for gifts to friends or as an alternative to pizza for large gatherings. They have some sauces that are better than store bought also. The foot print is small so they really have to focus on the best and not the most in terms of selection.-1 as the meats are usually more expensive than big market stores (although there’s a subjective increase in quality) and there’s no Coke products for sale. Also the cooked meats tend to be on the salty side and the cooked tri-tip is good but not mind blowing.
