We decided to to try a restaurant we never been too the food was good but the service was a little too slow they were all nice but felt a little to relax it was not busy have a few customers in the restaurant I saw 1 big party I had to wave the waitress down for a refill on my soda when she came to the table the first thing she said Would you like a box to go ? that's when I ask for my drink refill and some napkins We will go there again maybe this was just one of those days but The food was good ? just a little better service would make this restaurant Great

Good food. Huge portions. A little pricey. Short staffed, but they gave us plenty of attention. Jalapeño poppers were delicious.

they brought out the food for everyone else at my table and a worker asked me what had i ordered. I responded with a torta and told me they were out of tortas. Why would they tell me that once the food for my table was out. So i ordered a Burrito and they brought me a plate with a tortilla with steak inside and rice and beans separate (not inside the burrito). How do they mess up twice on the same person!!! Never coming here again since the service is bad every time i go.

Funny story...I ordered a couple of party trays, beans, rice and salsa over the phone for my husband's birthday party. I thought I had called Sal's. I sent my son to pick up the order, told him it was Sal's on Clovis Ave. When he got there, they didn't have my order. Luckily my son thought to walk a couple doors down to check at Salsa's. Apparently I had called Salsa's when ordering! Not putting Sal's down, because I've never had their Party Trays, but the trays from Salsa's were Wonderful!! So if you're ever planning a party, I highly recommend Salsa's! So glad I called the wrong number.

Went here because the place next door was closed. I have to say it was THE BEST decision and now I have a new favorite Mexican place in the Fresno/Clovis area. We ordered the Chile Verde burrito, stuffed empanadas, and the Chile Verde Enchiladas. The rice was so flavorful and tasted like it was made more with broth than the tomato paste and sauce. All the flavor of this place reminds me of Michoacan cooking and is amazing. Will definitely be back!

I was looking forward to dinner and a drink with my best friend from high school. We had such a bad experience when we ordered the drink that we left without eating dinner or drinking the drink. The owner was mean I have no other way of saying it. I will never return. I am sad because I was really looking forward to a really good night out. We ended up going to a restaurant called “the local” which was really a great experience and wonderful food and a blessing. What happened at salsa- I ordered a drink. I was told to taste it to see if I liked it I took a small sip and said OK. But, a second later I realized I hated it. I asked the employee if I could return it. Simply said yes of course. I offered to pay for the Grand Marnier or the alcohol it was put into it I said are you sure and she said no not a problem! So I thought everything was awesome, so,I ordered a different ( non mixed) drink to be safe. The employee was preparing that and then the owner came up and said “I couldn’t return the drink” after it was set to go to be disposed of in a “not clean” area. I explained that her employee said I could order something else - no problem… OK, now the owner brings me the drink back from the dirty area. It’s $18. I took a photo. We paid the bill and went out the back door to the car. The owner ran up to us yelling and said that it was illegal to take a photo. It’s not. I took another photo. I explained that I was taking a photo ticket for a review because this was a horrible experience. I think I’ve written three poor reviews in my 56 years of life but this is one of them it was very negative experience. I paid the $16 plus tax ( about $18) For the drink that was set to be disposed of in the garbage area because it was not worth spending anymore time in the negative environment. Apparently the bartender was out and the margaritas are normally good but it did not match with the menu said the muddled lime all of the great stuff it was horrible and All sugar

Very friendly staff and amazing food!

The Chile verde burrito was mostly beans and rice, virtually no sauce and the beef was fatty. There is nothing worse than a bite full of fat. We all get it. Your food prices went up and you need to charge more. But when your prices go up and the quality goes down, you will lose customers.

Went to the Latin event for New Years. Dancing and music was really good, but I wasn’t impressed with the party hosts attitudes and the downsized bar options. Additionally, the kitchen was closed for the night.I think the event could have been better had the party hosts been more welcoming instead of locking the front doors and not allowing guests to come in. I was treated very rudely by a party host for allowing one of my guests inside after my guest had already paid. This is not good service especially since the event costs $20 at the door.Perhaps setting the event up earlier would have helped and also setting up a a more welcoming atmosphere.

We have been coming here for years. Food is great, especially the fajitas, rice and homemade tortillas. The owners and servers have always made us feel like family .
