Went in for breakfast with my Mexican wife we were sent to the corner next to the bathroom when there were other empty tables? Waited 15 min. For them to take are drink order, then another 15 minutes for them to bring are drinks. Waited another 20 min for waitress to come over and inform us it will be 45 minutes to take are order as they are short staffed and they didn’t want to over well the chef? I’m not saying they are resist but it does make me question there integrity. I WILL NEVER BE BACK.
Have been here a few times now for breakfast and each time has been a great experience. It is a great location in the middle of old town, the food is amazing and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
went here to eat and the food was NOT worth it at all. service was also horrible, not once did our waitress come to check in on us even though she got our orders wrong or refill our drinks. she only checked on the other tables that came AFTER us. another review mentioned they felt alienated and i assure you that it DOES feel that way of you do not look like everybody else. save your money and go elsewhere.
First-timer at the cafe... There was a large party in the cafe today and the servers were very backed up. Everyone (even the Sous Chef) was very apologetic and accommodating to myself and the others waiting for service. Sabrina, in particular, was obviously a very helpful and active team-player.The caramel cappuccino was delicious.
Our order was not taken for 20 minutes, then we waited 40 minutes for our food. We stayed because we've been there several times in the past and the food had been good. NOT anymore, we ordered omelets that had most items missing and giant slices of onions added as a substitute. The biscuits were rock hard. I had trouble cutting them with a knife and gave up. We will NEVER GO BACK and our friends who have been there recently say the same thing. Pricey on top of it. I expect price increases, restaurants need to do that, but the food was not edible.

Everyone around us got their food and paid their check before we even received our food. Is it because we look different that we were looked down upon and forgotten? Discrimination is still around these days? I am afraid for my daughter to ever go through this. Not coming back. We just moved here from San Jose. Never thought we would experience this in our own backyard.Owner (Jess M.) of this establishment is very unprofessional. Please read below comment from owner. Really "professional". Jess says they are minority owned, but it feels like they cater to ALL the non minority customers so much more, when we should all be equal. How is this right Jess? Great food. The coffee, not so much. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was quick. Cute atmosphere. Even though there was a big group seated before us, we didn't have to wait long for a seat. I have came here once before and would come here again.
This place was great on a Saturday morning with my mom we were looking for a good place and walked in to immediate seating while the other popular places were full. The service was friendly and the food was great with large portions I will be coming back again!
Great place in old town clovis. we had chicken fried steak and eggs. Lauryn helped us a lot
