Not sure why they do not get more love on yelp. Our favorite Japanese place in town. The service is personal and they even remember exactly what my daughter wants.The food is high quality and consistently great. The tempura is perfectly battered and crispy. The chicken teriyaki is moist and slightly crispy on the outside, the perfect combo. I have to admit my favorite part is the macaroni salad, reminds me of plate lunches in Hawaii.
Food was great, excellent service, Chefs in the back are awesome and generous. They deserve more credit. All in all worth my time. ? ????
Was to expensive for what they gave! Plus i had paid for sushi and this older man comes in from outside after smoking a cigarette and makes it!!

WORST JAPANESE FOOD WORST FEMALE SERVICE NEARLY SICK FELT THE YOUNG AND OLD LADY WERE TRYING TO POISON ME WITH SOME DRINK THEY CLAIMED TO BE FISH STOCK MY LETTERS ARE ALL IN CAPS DUE TO HOW TERRIBLE THIS PLACE IS THE ONLY PEOPLE GIVING GOOD REVIEWS ARE THE FRIENDS OF THIS FAMILY AND FI FEEL IS THE ONLY REASON THIS PLACE STAYS OPEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEM AND NEVER TRIED THIS PLACE BE WARNED!
Nice big portions very tasty
We visited for the first time a few weeks ago before Fresno went into lockdown again due to COVID-19. We enjoyed everything we had but most importantly, my kids loved it. We have been ordering for take out to get our sushi fix since.I love how each item is done exactly as ordered ( no wasabi on certain rolls, extra wasabi on others etc. ) and everything is so fresh and delicious. My kids look forward to sushi night and we are happy to support our local sushi spot.
Looking for an authentic japanese food experience? This is the only place in town that gets it. The owner - guy working the sushi bar, is japanese so that says it all
The food was AMAZING! I had never had authentic Japanese style cuisine before and was unsure what to expect. But I was VERY impressed and will definitely be back for more.
The hostess was very gracious and took time to explain and or recommend selections for those in our party not familiar with Japanese cuisine. The food was excellent as well, all six in our group were pleased with their meals
