Went here for mother's day. Seated right away and the waitress was friendly and helpful. I didn't find a lot of no meat options so that's a negative for me. But overall it was a good experience and food was to everyone's liking. The portions are generous in size. Would not recommend the Mai Tai drink $5 during happy hour it was so sour tasting.
Very good! The waiting for walk-in is about 10-15 minutes on a Sunday night, which is surprisingly awesome. The food was tasty. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The only downside is that whoever works in the kitchen doesn’t read notes, I asked for a dish with no bacon while my friend ordered well done. My order came with bacon and my friend got their steak medium, but they fixed it and also brought us a dessert of our choice as an apology ❣️. One of the staff that brings the food to the table (Literally )throws the table like she was in hurry or something whereas the other one is ver nice and considerate.
The coconut ? was off the knott !The prime rib sandwich w/fries was very good, and the bun was super soft..My husband loved the Cobb Salad. The sour dough bread rolls were very warm, and the baked beans were good.
Place is definitely overpriced for the quality and amount of food you get, got the 10oz prime rib with mashed potatoes and it was $35 before tip. The salad it comes with had old cucumbers and stale croutons, also the complimentary bread and butter tasted off, overall not worth it at all. Texas roadhouse has 16oz prime rib for $26 with 2 sides, and their rolls with cinnamon honey butter is way better
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was very friendly, but the Service was the worst. 20-minute wait time wasn't bad, but 1 hour 25 minutes for the main course was insane, then I made the mistake of ordering dessert, another 40min for dessert, luckily the check only took 4min. I'm definitely going to think twice about coming back.
I place a pickup order at 5:28 and they said my food would be ready in 25 minutes. I got there just before 6:00 and they told me my order wasn't ready yet. I waited in the restraunt for over 30 minutes. I finally got my food an hour later. When we sat down to eat the food it was cold and bland. There is no reason my food should have been cold! I was sitting 10 feet from the front desk. Such a waist of my time and money!
Lunch was excellent and the service was amazing. I know many restaurants have been short staffed and struggling to provide the level of service common prior to the pandemic, so I would never leave a bad review over that, especially since most are able to still bring excellent food. But, this Cool Hand Luke’s service and attention is phenomenal. Whatever they are doing to make this happen, I hope they are sharing this strategy with all others.
Great option when you're in the mood for some good steak or some kind of BBQ meat.
Placed order for take out (12/20/21 @ 3pm) for 2 Steak and Bake, picked up food around 3:30pm. My food does not taste fresh. Sourdough rolls was NOT fresh as it was advertised, it was stale. Missing 1 campfire beans. I live too far from this place to go back and get a refund, will be a waste of gas.
My wife and I rarely share a meal but in this case we had a late lunch and this was an early dinner with friends. We shared the Texas Shrimp Trio (crispy stagecoach shrimp, hand-breaded coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi sauces for dipping) a good combination. I usually don’t care for coconut shrimp but these were very good and the shrimp was very good. Their house-baked rolls were so good before and after dinner. Service was friendly and atmosphere was as you would expect Cool Hand Luke. Wish we did live 179 miles away, would like to try other items in their menu.
