Rude service so I take my business elsewhere sad after 8 years time to go

Came here because I was stopping by with my mama to get an acai bowl, she has cancer but they smoke inside there so I asked them if they could stop and the lady just scoffed at me. save yourself the drama and money and just buy everything you need at Trader Joe's. This isn't the 1930s where everyone smokes not knowing the harm it causes.UPDATE: i attempted to go alone since I don't want my mom to be disappointed. Vaping is still smoking. I can see it happening in the back in the kitchen at THE SPOT. I assure you I know which establishment is which

CATERING - Ordered 12 smoothies, croissant platter, macaroon platter, assorted wrap platter, and strawberry salad for a tropical themed faculty retreat from The Spot Cafe. It was convenient to order online, and I received a call from the store about easiest way to pick up this large order. Pick-up was less than ideal as the parking lot is awkward to navigate, but Nina helped me carry all to my car. Everything was delicious and the variety met everyone's needs, including those with dietary restrictions. Overall very happy to have this as a nearby, healthy catering option. We will be back!

Nice place for smoothies and healthy snacks. They make the smoothies from scratch. You get to watch. Nice people.I read the reviews and I am pretty sure many of the reviews are about the shop next door.

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a coffee or smoothie. The customer service was phenomenal, shoutout to Nina for recommending such delicious drinks for my family and I.

So this restaurant decided to report my review on DoorDash as harassment and bullying, so my comment wouldn't show. All I wrote was "pizza was delicious it just arrived totally cold :(" & it's really unprofessional for them to just report comments that they simply don't like. The food was delicious, and I wanted to order again, but now I'm not sure. Just wanted to put this out there.

Good food but not consistent. Ordered something and they gave me something else or leave out ingredients. Always check your food before you leave to make sure it's correct.

I'm extremely disappointed.I run a small business nearby; my team of staff always loved ordering from The Spot. We also see hundreds of clients whom we referred to The Spot regularly. After a few months of consistent (sometimes daily) orders for delivery, we noticed that our orders were almost always incorrect or missing something that we paid for. The Spot was always courteous in returning to our facility to deliver anything that was missing, but eventually it grew to be an inconvenience and we simply stopped ordering from The Spot all together.Today was the first time in a few months that we tried again (but this time for pick up). I personally picked up the order, and granted it was my mistake to not check the order onsite, the two sandwiches were missing chips and one sandwich looked as if it was just careless thrown together.Angry and upset, I wanted to leave a poor review. Instead, I first wanted to provide an opportunity for The Spot to make the situation right before telling others to stay clear of this business. I attempted to call to talk to someone - no one answered and the voicemail was not set up to leave a message. After quite a few attempts, someone finally picked up the call (sounding irritated that I had been trying so many times).I expressed that I was disappointed in the order and I was told that I should have checked and the sandwich was falling apart because I selected gluten free bread, "and that's what you get when you place an order like that". I was offered a gift card or a new sandwich and chips if I was willing to return. Upon stating that I would really love to see another small business thrive and would love to see the accuracy in orders improve, I was aggressively told, "I'm not gonna argue with you about this". I asked the employee to please listen to what I had to say because I, too, have been on the receiving end of negative feedback - I was hung up on. As a fellow customer service provider, I would never in my right mind blame the customer for my mistake and proceed to refuse to listen, then hang up on them. I work hard to train my staff to handle phone calls with poise and appropriate etiquette, and would hope that today was just a tough day at The Spot Cafe.

This place is great! A big healthy menu of drinks and food. Coffee, juices, smoothies, shots, sandwiches and more! Awesome vegan options and they even do meal prep. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Limited inside seating but a big open patio.

I love this place and miss being able to eat there. If you have never been I recommend it highly.I would still be going if I still lived in California.
