Hands down one of my favorite sushi spots in all of LA/the 626. Authentic Japanese dishes along with fantastically fresh sushi. Hayato Sushi has been my go-to spot for years and has never disappointed.This place got me through the pandemic and I am forever grateful for their existence. They’re food always provided comfort even at the weirdest of times.They do get busy, especially on weekends! If you cannot get ahold of them when trying to call in for a to-go order it’s because they are already too busy with dine-in. Keep that in mind and be patient, they’re a small business providing A+ quality
This place has their regulars and definitely favors them. Waited 1 hour for 2 rolls. Tables got there after and got their rolls before us.
An oasis in a sea of AYCE and imitation crab, this place does traditional sushi with quality fish. Highly highly recommend!
Fresh, authentic Japanese food and friendly staff. Small but pleasant outdoor seating area. Wide selection of sushi at good prices. Definitely worth a visit.
Really nice staff and really good food. Best Miso soup I've had in a long time and the broth of my Udon was amazing
Sorry to say I had a bad experience. I took my son and his girlfriend and had to apologize most of the time. Service was bad and the food was bad. The seafood tasted old not fresh. When I talked to the waitress at the end of our meal (mind you alot of food was still on the table), basically her response was too bad so sad.
This used to be our favorite sushi place for decades. The food has always been fantastic. And it still is. I think. If we would have been served. But the service blows. We arrived at our appointed time. Ordered a glass of wine and a beer and a roll. Said we’d order dinner after those arrived. And no. One. Ever. Checked. Back. With. Us. So sad.
