Food is good, service is terrible. The servers move extremely slow. They don’t come back and check on the tables often, we had to go up to the front and ask the hosts that we were ready to order and we had to go up again and ask for the check. They need new servers.
Sunday 5/8/22No stars from me for this restaurant. I had to add a star for it to allow me to post. The star is for my kids❤️ We arrived, young guy said need reservations. My son and daughter spoke to him.He took my daughters name, 15mins later another family showed up with no reservations and he placed them at a table. I came into talk to him he said that since they were in front of him he let them in. He said he never talked to my daughter. I had my son and daughter come in and my son told him that he did as well as my daughter...this guy lied to his managers face. Manager said that if we came back at 1pm he would give us a table. We were there at 11am. We were literally outside the door entrance. They had others without reservations guy we spoke to had braces on. My husband's an executive chef,I never seen this done to someone b4...
Good News it was all tables were filled, but only had to wait 5 mins for a table. Chips were a bit stale. Drinks are good. Food is typical. Mole Enchiladas we're good, but chicken was dry. Steak Ranchero was tasty.We will come back
Host was very polite over the phone and in person. Love the hibiscus flowers on the outside and cozy outdoor and indoor seating. Some of the reviews worried us but our sever was polite and attentive. The food was tasty and the portions huge. We’ll be back. Thank for making our family night out a good one.
Today my boyfriend, myself and my son (6) came here for lunch. We were sat and given water and chips then nothing else nobody came to take our order or take our drink order nothing. I flagged a waitress with real short hair down and she mumbled something and walked off. She had no dishes in her hand or anything then she walked right past our table never acknowledging me or the fact that I just flagged her down just walked right past us. That’s it 25 min no greeting nothing. Very poor service . I will not be going back there. I don’t recommend going here.
I’ve been going to El Ranchero for over 20 years. The food is good and the portions are great. I almost always have leftovers to have lunch the next day.
Ok so this place looks like it would be good.Yes they have mexican dishes that are well known but nothing out of the ordinary.But I was fooled. The food had absolutely no taste. For a second I thought I was sick and lost my taste but no it was just the food. No flavor.I had the fajitas plate.My partner had the steak and shrimp. Shrimp was alright but not enough to make up for anything else.The salsa is just pure chunks of onion no spice at all. And the chips were stale.Maybe the head chef was out. I dont know. Hopefully it was just a bad night and it's usually better.The good part...we got seated right away on a Saturday night.Will I go back? Unfortunately, no.
I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid (over 10 years). But The last 4 times I’ve gone I have been thoroughly disappointed. I always get the same server, a tall older man who always seems like he doesn’t want to be there. I came here with 2 friends. We all ordered water and he only brought us one water to our table which just didn’t make sense. After taking the order for our Appetizer he didn’t return for at least another 20 minutes to take our food order (keep in mind we never got our waters). Then we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. When we were served, he never came back to check on us one time, so I couldn’t even tell him that we had no silverware at our table. We were sitting outside and after 10 minutes of waiting with our plates in front of us, I had to walk inside and take silverware from one of the already set tables. We didn’t see our server for the rest of our visit. We had to track him down for the check. The food here is delicious but I think this will be the last time I come to this place

Good food, decent prices. I didn't get one this time around, but they have an amazing selection of margaritas! Next time! I'm not sure if they were short handed due to the labor shortage right now, but it took a little while to get our order in. It was worth the wait though. Definitely going back.
