I’m very confused why when I show up on a Sunday night at 7:30 the staff is locked up and pretending the sweep the same spot for 10 minutes . And says only drive thru is open . Wonder if the management knows these kids are closing the doors early
They ran out of food at 3:40 p.m. Poor accountability of food supply
This waba was one of the best but you can tell the staff needs support, they're always hustling but you can tell there is a lack of management & leadership. It seems like there has been some operation issues. My last few visits they either didn't open on time (2 hours late), were out of steak, out of ice and today stopped taking orders for 30 min for some unexplained reason. They also make those bowls pretty light sometimes, you only get half a bowl.
I implore anyone visiting this location to avoid the Drive-Thru, exiting is a stressful endeavor.Excellent food and friendly staff!Drive through needs a Do Not Block intersection due to traffic at the light and an only turn left sign.
They were very busy and seemed to be overworked & understaffed. Took me almost 30 mins to get my food ??
What I dislike about this Waba grill is the drive thru, it is so difficult to exit because of all the traffic.
Out of the popular comparable fast food joints located all across Hacienda Heights and surrounding areas, WaBa Grill has got to be among my top 10 favorites list.When compared with the other guys, WaBa Grill's beef and chicken are some of the most consistently well cooked meats and their famous WaBa sauce, in my opinion, is damn near the tastiest out of any of their competitors in these parts.
Love waba but this location needs some training... Went in for a quick bite, my order isn't normal (2) orders of dumplings and a side salad with avocado. Spent $12.01 and they only put spring mix in my salad? Every other location I've ordered this from has added other veggies in the salad.(cherry tomatoes,cucumber, or at least some edamames) On and did I mention they didn't give me any sauce for the dumplings... I've never not had them just put the sauce in the bag? It only takes one time to treat a customer bad to lose the business for good...
The guy that was cooking the food had the mask down his nose after cooking he grabbed his shirt to dry his nose and face. Two people were on the employee door talking instead of helping the cashier or the people coming in to get food.
worst experience at this location,i showed up 15 minutes befor closing at there drive threw and no one responded had drive around and enter the store and i walk in still no one around and i see the girl with the headset on and still did not approch us untill a young man came to me and there were supposed out of dumplings , they could have sincerely just canceled over the drive-thru and let me know they were unavailable. never coming back here again.
