The service here is not the best, but the food is good. I've always loved the decor and murals.
Food was average, service was not good. Had to ask for things 2 and 3 times. Villa Cariño in La Puente is so much better and reasonable prices.
My experience. We have 2 poblanitas in city of the puente. To which my experience was not good! The one on Amar, service there is horrible! They make you wait for the food like almost 25 minutes, and that's then without customers. Can you imagine when it's very pack. So the 1st time I went to the one on Nelson, I honestly loved the service, and there food. Specially there café de Olla. So I invited my family for breakfast when we get there, not really a lot of customers. They seem to take a couple of minutes to bring us chips/salsa. So they bring them to us, and then we ordered our drinks. We all ordered Cafe de Olla. Once our Cafe gets there, I'm bragging to my family how great this coffee is. When all of sudden, I feel something hot/wet, on my right leg! I yell, and turn to see my sister has jump out of her seat, because the handle of her jarrito cup has broken off! So my sister was coved in very hot coffee all over herself! One waitress came, and brought cloth napkins so my sister can clean herself, and the table. Another waitress came like a minute later, and ask what happened. My sister told her that as she was getting ready to take a zip out of her cup, the handle broke! The waitress looked at my sister, and told her. I don't understand how it happened to you. If this has never happened to anybody else. My sister very patiently responded. Do you think I wanted this to happen to me? No lady, this is very hot. The waitress just walked away as if nothing happened. Yes it was not a good experience at all. They need to be more careful with there dishware, and also not have an attitude! So that was my experience with them. After that my sister told me..... I thought you said they had good service here. I said.... I take that back. Sorry.
Very good food and great service. been coming here for a while and really like.
Food and service was excellent. Homemade tortillas was the icing on the cake.
Not gonna say it's the best or most amazing. However the food is good and consistent. My family has been going there for years. Never have had a bad plate here. Recommend the huevos divorciados. Also recommend asking for half of a cheese with tortillas it's pretty good.
Food was fresh and good homemade tortillas corn and flour
love their tamales and champurado...
My favorite place to go whenever I want chilequiles or huevos rancheros, breakfast is served with beans and papas and served in a timely manner . Communication is a bit hard because I don’t speak Spanish but my order is never wrong
La Poblana breakfast selections are traditional and delicious. I also wanted a tamal because they are unbelievably good here but I got too full on my fantastic breakfast. Don't miss the handmade corn tortillas and the Cafe de Ollá. I got my tamals to go because they are too good to miss.
