Great food, huge portions, all at a price that is really low. 4 item combo filled/overflowing the dish and the rice was served separately (with soup as well), all for under $10.The fried rice was delicious, great flavor, enough that I have dinner already from the leftover as well.
We are so impressed with the tw beef noodle taste, it's just authentic, taste like home. Worthy of 5 stars.
Bugs in the soup. Totally gross, never going back.
They’re back! Dine in open too! Shanghai fried pork buns to die for. A must order item! Just be very careful biting into them, full of hot delicious juice but will burn you. I also love that they sell frozen dumplings which I haul all the way to the Palm Springs area since there’s no good Asian food out that way. That way I can have a little taste of good Asian food when I’m out there. Happy Kang Kang is back!
Very sumptuous, economical, more choices of food. I love the spicy taste. Well recommended. ?5 stars?
Majority customers are Chinese from China, and large numbers are not wearing masks. I love the food but not the way they operated.
Lots of choices, fresh food ,quick service, lot’s of food
Shau May used to be my number 1 stop when in LA area. Their minced pork with melon & fried pork chop soup noodle was perfect. So was the Taiwanese ice for dessert. So, that the hell happen to my favorite restaurant. They no longer served the pork chop noodle soup, the Tawainese ice topping looked too old as the top had dried out and small puddle flows around the topping. I would be afraid to eat them. The pan fried buns was the only thing that was good. From what I can tell this place is just served cheap food for the local workers...so sad they had change.
The Shanghai fried pork bao is the best in the area I think. There is also a variety of other dishes at a decent price. There are a few outside tables but the inside is just people picking up food, they have plenty of space to maintain social distancing and everybody was gloved and masked. ?I will be back.
I always stop by and buy the frozen dumpling when I passing nearby. Those dumplings are much better than those you usually buy in a Chinese supermarket like 168 or ranch 99. You can also buy to go Chinese food with reasonable price. The portion are right with fair price. The taste is fine considering the cheap price.
