Almost everything is good here. Very close to what we would get in Taiwan, that local flavor. I feel it’s still a bit on the salty side; especially the three-cup chicken. Overall, the foods are delicious.
Possibly the worst service we have ever had in a Taiwanese restaurant. Server was not even close to friendly or welcoming. After we were seated, she asked us to switch tables with other customers, but didn't bother to bring their tea, cups, and utensils over, my husband had to bring their items to them. Service was very slow, and we had to get up and approached the server for all requests, from ordering food to asking for the to go boxes. We even had to stood by the counter for 10-15 mins for our check while multiple servers passed by and just ignored us. The restaurant was so disorganized it's mind boggling.Food - Short rib in taro rice noodle soup was hard and chewy, soup had no flavor. Spicy stinky tofu was not flavorful and they suggested adding duck blood tofu that was not on the menu, was a surprise to see it turned out to be a $20 dish that was absolutely not worth the price tag. On the other hand, fried oyster dish was great, three cup chicken met expectations.Overall a very disappointing experience, given this place was highly recommended and had great reviews. Will certainly not come back.
Very tasty traditional Taiwanese cuisine :)
Be prepared- poor hygiene and service. The dishes look like authentic in the pictures but .. not really LOL
Don’t let the cluttered interior scare you off. They serve quality Taiwanese cuisine, a rarity in LA dining scene these days.
Delicious Taiwanese food and good service.
Authentic Taiwanese taste.
I like taro vermicelli soup. Very Authentic!
The beef noodle soup here is one of the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. Let me know if you ever find better within a 30mile radius.
One of the hidden gem in the City of Industry. A must try for Taiwanese/Hakka cuisine lovers.
