If you are looking to sit down and relax while having a dripping moist, knock your socks off, grease ball burger that is a flavor explosion,… Nations is your place. Their meat is perfectly seasoned and their produce is always fresh. Also, Ask for the grilled onions, it takes their burger to the next flavor level. My other favorite part, if you are not too hungry and have a sweet tooth,… its all about the π Pi, 3.14, errr the Pie. I have not had a bad slice yet, from the Banana Creme', Strawberry Cheesecake to the Chocolate Creme’, they are all good!
This is a place to enjoy great pies with outstanding crust, just like homemade. I ordered a chocolate cream pie and a banana cream pie. It wasn't the first time, and definitely will not be the last.
Nation's have delicious and Giant hamburgers! And while you are there you must try some of their homemade pies. Some of the best pies in town! You won't be disappointed! And finally, Nation's also serves a delicious breakfast with many options. Give them a visit!
Each time I come it tastes a little different even though I order the same item: The bacon cheeseburger. The first time it was good the second it was soggy within minutes. I wanted to try the onion rings but there must be a shortage because they never have them. I ordered a whole cherry cheesecake and it was by far the WORST cheesecake I've tried in a very long time. It looked like a can of cherry topping thrown on top and It tasted more like key lime pie. I was expecting a home made one and it looked like it was made elsewhere and sent to them.I was very disappointed because a place who is known for pies etc did not have a good one.
staff provided good customer service and turned out the order quickly. in my opinion the food (hamburgers and fries) here is just ok, not really that bad but not really that good. i didnt have any on this trip but their pies have always been great in the past. i like that they are open later than most other burger places.
My first time at Nation's after hearing about it for years and I got to say it's exactly what I thought it was. Fairly priced burgers, hot dogs, breakfast items and pie in a cozy diner setting. I ordered the regular hamburger and while I liked the size of the patty, it was hardly flavored at all. There's really no reason to come here over In-N-Out or Five Guys when they have tastier burgers for your $7. The pies weren't bad, but again nothing to write home about.
It was OK. We each had a burger and both were incorrect. Not that big of a deal, but annoying. We waited 31 minutes for our meal so I wasn't about to ask them to remake anything. It wasn't even all that busy. It appeared to me that they were running the bare minimum number of employees so that may have contributed to the wait time. The burgers were big and not very exciting. I had fries that were alright, nothing special. My wife had onion rings that were delicious! They were the best part of the meal. We each had a shake and they were pretty good. There were no paper towels in the head and both hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. We both walked out full but probably won't be back any time soon. The food wasn't bad, it just didn't really do much for either of us.
Long time ago ... Lol! Before they open the Sacramento location. I had to ? stop and get my pie fix in the hood/ Vallejo location ? I remember making a suggestion on opening up here in Sacramento. And here we are! ? Banana Cream pie anyday eversince!
The burger and fries were pretty good sized, and the mocha shake was great.I'll have to try a slice of pie next time, they all looked pretty good in the glass case.
“Grand Breakfast and Great Pies” their sign out front proclaims and it couldn’t be more true. My favorite restaurant for both! I order their Giant Two Egger breakfast plate and it’s oh so tasty. It comes with hearty portions of food and makes you thankful for restaurants that offer breakfast all day. The pies are the best, you will just need to try them.
