I hope this place starts having their employees who make your food starts to wear gloves. I came in 6.7.2022 around 8:20, the guy that was about to make the food for the customer ahead of me was picking his teeth. After i ordered my food, i ask the cashier if he can wear gloves, cashier told him to wear gloves and gave it to him, he just toss it aside, and he was staring at me like he was upset. I was afraid he was going to spit on my food or something so i stayed and watch him, another guy came and stared at me and, i was lucky he put on gloves. If not i probably would not eat my food. The dos coyote at thunder valley, the people making your food all wears plastic goves, why not this place?? Specially with Covid too. I hope this will make a change in how they do business. We customers love dos coyote and we pay good money, why not treat us good. I didn’t want to have to write this bad review, but i felt i just told the manager, nothing would happen.
If you are looking for a casual Mexican restaurant, Dos Coyotes fits the bill. In-door and out-door seating. Large variety of unique Mexican dishes. Variety of spice levels and a nice salsa bar. I also believe that they have a full bar, at the very least wine and beer.
Not the greatest. The refried beans taste funny the rice is flavorless the menu says chips and salsa bar but there is only salsa. The crispy tacos ave very oily. This place is not for my taste buds but you may like it.
Where else can you get a Paella Burrito except at Dos Coyotes?! Big fresh grilled shrimp, sausage, rice, and creamy sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla to stuff into your mouth. What else can I say. Too bad they no longer have the seasonal stew dishes on the menu. It was so good, The perfect comfort food. Shame on Bobby for teasing us like that!!
We has a nice meal on the front patio and wanted to give a special acknowledgment to our server Ari, who was helpful and nice. We wanted to do something special to celebrate our daughter’s last meal as a young food critic.
The food here is Very delicious and has a lot of flavor! It’s so AWESOME that they have a salsa bar! Very cool place.I highly recommend their chicken fajita salad
I have reviewed the Citrus Heights location before. It is worth an update. This is the freshest of their locations. Dine in, pick up, outdoor seating is always pleasant. Staff polite and friendly. Restaurants is kept clean and food is dependably great. We go out of our way to dine here.
They had my online order for pickup ready when I arrived. The contents we just as I had ordered and was charged correctly. There salsa bar had a wide variety of choices ranging from sweet to savory and spicy levels.
I ordered a carnitas burrito with the works and 2 tacos. 1 Carney asada and the other chicken. The tacos weren't bad but rather unexciting.. Lots of lettuce and a decent amount of meat. But the tortillas were uncooked. Like they just took him out of the package and didn't even heat them up. The carnitas burrito was huge! It had a lot of good stuff in it but the meat wasn't really one of them. Carnitas are generally fried to have a little crispness on them this was more like a pulled pork. Also the gentleman that took my order was talking so fast I had a hard time understanding what he was saying. Don't know that I'd go back. there are a lot of other options out there. The best thing about it was generous portion sizes.
Dining area had several tables with left over dirty dishes. No place to sit but there. Had to ask for table wipe down. A slightly damp towel passed over table leaving it sticky. More water and press harder!
