Arrived 40 min before closing look like it was already closes. Very uninviting. Took 25 min to get 6 tacos. Took 20 min for them to tell me they were out of bean dip (that I was looking forward to) got stuck with nacho cheese. Asked for guacamole on the side I recieved deconstructed tacos (everything on the side). A potential customer came in at 8:59 doors were unlocked and we were still eating he was turned away and tod the restaurant was closed. Super unprofessional. Doubtful I will return. It's shame to not get better service at a small local chain that seems to be thriving. Would have been a 1 star but the birria was pretty good.
Its a good thing these are the best tacos in town. After waiting 10 minutes in line by myself, someone came to the register to count tips, a few minutes later I was granted the privilege to order. I ordered all tacos on a Tuesday, she rang me up full price $3.50 vs.2$ each. I had to ask if they still do taco Tuesdays. "OH you want to do that". Customer service is dead, I'm low staffed at work too, not an excuse.
I love Chandos but not this location. A bit overpriced and the wait was super long. Almost 30 minutes for some nachos and a churro. Two people with larger orders who came in after me and left before I got my food.
First visit. I had Carnitas tacos and my friend had Carne Asada tacos. Service was good. Not too busy around 5. 3 tacos, Pico de gallo, chips, and a soft drink. My Carnitas tacos were excellent. They came with lemon wedges, I prefer lime. The Carne Asada tacos were pretty dry, meat-wise, but very flavorful and also served with lemon wedges. I would go back for the Carnitas. I don't know if the Asada was held too long or cut too small or both...but probably would not order them again.
Pro Tip: Don't order online for pickul, call it in.Tacos are $.50-1.00 more and burritos are $2.50 more than in the restaurant. Not bashing on Chandos, I'm sure there's some cost to have the online ordering system, but it's a little excessive. Now that that's our of the way, damn good food made fresh!Cheese shell tacos for the low carb eaters are great!
Went in put my order in at 6:30. One person ahead of me. I figured ok it's ok they're taking long. I only ordered 2 things only, Carne asada fries and flauntas. And I received my order at 6:56. Almost 30 minutes for 2 items. And they didn't even care. A family walked in like 10 minutes after me, ordered in the front counter. And they got 2 bags full of food before me. I'm so upset, 30 minutes, for 2 things. I wish I could do 1 star. Never coming here again.
The FRIES are Amazing and filling. Good service good food. I've tried the tacos as well I'm surprised they're never busy when I come. Might be location? I only recently discovered them there
Chandos was the most discusting place I've ever eaten. The 4 inch tacos were $3.50 each and filled with gristle meat. The trash can was hidden, so couldn't even throw them away.
I have never been disappointed here before... It very well could be my own fault as I tried something different. Not a fan of their birra tacos...
Food is good. Cooks gave me the gas face because they shorted me my order and I caught it. The original in mid Town is always a better experience. Seems as though when I go to Citrus Height, the ladies act as though they don't want to be there. And they damn sure don't want you there. They also skimp on ingredients compared to other Chandos. The Brand itself is inconsistent. That is all I have to say about that. Go RAMS!
